Think this is how i first found Bon Iver. That documentary brought me right to some of the best tears i ever shed. I started playing guitar to play this one.
I would’ve been about 5 when he passed, but he is, and always will be, such a big part of our hearts here in perth. I only wish I could’ve been old enough to appreciate him while he was alive, he seemed so wonderful snd full of life.
I was a freshman in High School when 10 Things I Hate About You came out -- probably had a lot more of an impact on my trajectory in life than I realized until maybe now. I went on to get a degree in theater and this guy was always in the back of my mind. It read through the screen, and all the "acting", that he was just a juggernaut and a truly beautiful creature bearing out his heart -- a model, so that we could all have the courage to try and take those risks and create beauty in a world that will always be tragic and short -- no matter if you die early or when you're 100yrs. Be That For Everyone Around You. So that we can all live as free as the birds in the trees. My mother was that -- all Grace and Beauty even, and especially in her final days when I was nine. People still smile when they talk about her! 😊 First and foremost search for Grace in life in all things. The rest will take care of itself. It's all we have is Love. ✌️
I didn’t think much of Heath Ledgers till, I saw him in Lords of Dogtown. I thought he was Val Kilmer for at least 20 minutes. In an interview he said that he was playing Skip as if he was Val Kilmer…. I was amazed.
My favorite movie role is the joker from 《Batman:DarkKnight2》2008 version.Then i know the actor of Joker is Heath Ledger.After that i also found the man in the 《Brokeback Mountain 》is him.I started to be fascinated about this soul and expecting more performance from him.I felt really pity and upset when i known he's been gone. I started to love Bon Iver's song since 2017 and been listening their songs till now. Perth is locate at Australia where i went abroad study for two years. Today i found that,my favorite band “Bon Iver” have a song named after “Perth” the city in the country where i've been enjoy living,in memory of my favorite actor “Heath Ledger". Some how i felt some beautiful coincidence and love connected to this world.Rest in peace Heath Ledger.
I was born, raised and am currently in Perth. This song wrecked me.. I am a huge movie fan and was a massive fan of Heaths since before he went big. I always wished I'd have the chance to meet him but instead got crushed with the news of his death. This video brings back so many feelings.
@@mikey.1205 it clearly states, he named the song Perth in honour of Heath because it’s where he grew up, but the song isn’t about the place, it’s about the person Heath Ledger
