Those Two SRO’s that Ted rebuilt years ago were probably mine. They are in a ‘69 Twin of mine. I sent them to Ted Weber to get them rebuilt. The surrounds had deteriorated (after years of abuse)😂. Ted did a fantastic job on them. They still sound fantastic.
Great video! Do you know if there is a way to route certain loops to only 1 output rather than both? I'm using both outputs each to an amp but I want certain loops to only go to one of the amps. Not sure if there is something that can help me do that with the ES8
@adlegol dude, that would be amazing. Would you know where in the manual I can find it? I've asked in a couple of other Tutorial videos, and no one seems to figure out how.
Thank you so much for doing a demo that also had clean tone with humbucker pickups. These are damn near impossible to find. Every clean tone demo is a strat and then when they switch to a LP it's completely overdriven tones only. It's like everyone forgets what Les Pauls were used for before hard rock!
Thanks. Yeah the Ambikab always presents some killer tones. I think the D50 is great, but I generally like that sound. Might have to rig this setup up again.
@@modestoney1577 Scuttlebutt is that its not a subtle difference. Is that your experience also? This fellow seems to believe its just a blip: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tdq7e2goO9o.htmlsi=NyUUp4L7T28VaD6L
@@cgavin1 To be honest I have no experience with other V30s, so I cannot say anything about a difference or make a comparison to other V30s. I also read, that nothing was changed (soundwise) and there have been faulty productions (around 2006?) which don`t sound as good, but before and after that all V30s sound the same. Others say there are audible differences all over the place. I don`t know - all I know is the one I got seems to fit the DR surprisingly well and sounds very good.
I know this might come out crazy but.. This video is so wholesome. When I was a very young kid, around your son's age, my parents ALWAYS bought me a Lego Christmas Advent Calendar for christmas, and I still think of it today. I really cherish those moments with my parents building some small lego builds in the morning before going to school. I promise you, your son will still think of this for many years to come.
Sounds great mate, one thing I'm curious about is what speaker cab and speakers are you using, I've bought the special 6 212 open back cab with there cromebacks loaded when I bought mine but I'm considering putting in a pair of neo creambacks and making a panel to have the back closed in or open back, it sounds great with my H&K tubemiester cab with vintage 30s , but the special 6 cab sounds pretty damn good to in stereo mode also
