Thank goodness, I watched this video first before thinking of buying Fontself. So, a year ago it was a little over $10, last month it was around $20, and now it's $39 for just Adobe Illustrator, wow...just...wow. :(
Those are two different versions. The one im reviewing is for Procreate. The desktop extension is more expensive but it also gives you a much higher level of customization in nearly every aspect.
Great video with sensible advice. I’d like to pick your brain because I am an experienced calligrapher and a water colorist. I’ve been asked to paint a background and write a poem on top of it in italics. Do you have any suggestions for the type of paper and the type of ink?
I love them all. I struggle with all the letters and the pencil. 😂. I can’t get the thick line to show up. I think I’m doing as said. I want to learn so bad. I practice everyday. I have a 2b pencil. 😢

As of 7/24/24 the app is $20 and it has in app purchases. I wish they explained what else do I need to pay for in addition to $20. As for your channel, I think I’ll subscribe..
This video made my day! You were spot on , when you said , "you dont have to use the most expensive ones to prove your skills, just the basic ones will do" . That is so true. I can’t get my pencil drew like the calligraphy strokes. I sharpened the pencil and dulled one side of the lead as described but didn’t get that think & Thin effects when drawing. Both up and down strokes ended up the same thinkness. Its trickier when actually doing it than watching it if you are a beginner.
