This Is Stupid, Feelings Are Not Facts, You Will Be Wrong And A Loser, All Of Your Weak Emotionally Unstable Life!!! I Will Laugh At Dumb Wrong People! With No Evidence! Just Emotions! While I Win With The Facts!!! Using Your Feelings Over Facts Makes You Weak And Mentally ill. I Laugh At The Weak Crying Feeling Fools Ever Day!! It's Sooo Entertaining!!! 😂

there's a fine line between what is termed gossip and sharing because you need help and support, and may even benefit from feedback suggestions for solutions, etc. sometimes sharing can also confirm or make aware workplace bullying and harassment or discrimination, if you keep suffering in silence, you may never know the bigger picture from others views or experiences, which can then lead to resolution and better outcomes. bullies and bad behaviour can be protected and covertly continue their reign, hidden by a no-gossip culture - some naive/timid staff will never know what is repeated unacceptable treatment/behaviour if no one talks about it. there are many situations when sometimes reasonable 'gossip' can benefit staff and/or call out people and bosses breaking the law or workplace code of conduct policy, etc. which may otherwise fly under the radar and never detected until too late.

Sounds a lot like the Eightfold Path in Buddhism repackaged for Western audiences. "Below the Line" also makes me think of Tema Okun's "White Supremacy Culture". Lots of ways to describe these things. Quite succinct, good stuff

00:03 Good leaders focus on content, conscious leaders focus on context. 00:54 Choosing between curiosity and defensiveness 01:17 Leaders take radical responsibility for their experiences. 01:39 Context influences team dynamics and collaboration 02:01 Recycling issues leads to waste of time, money, and energy. 02:22 Conscious leaders help shift from 'me' mindset to a more inclusive approach. 02:45 Addressing context and valuing listening and speaking 03:07 Context is crucial in resolving content issues

After seeing The Conscious Leadership Group's film, I am quite pleased with their approach to leadership training programs. It is apparent that their emphasis on conscious leadership extends beyond typical leadership training approaches and digs into the essence of what it means to be a really effective and influential leader. I enjoy how they highlight the significance of self-awareness and emotional intelligence in leadership, since these are sometimes ignored yet critical parts of effective leadership; this was also emphasized throughout our training at echelonfront. It's nice to find a training program that focuses the individual leader's growth and development over simply teaching them how to manage and lead others.

How are you supposed to use this effectively when the people you work with are deeply paranoid and passive aggressive?

We recommend you practice these commitments with others who are equally committed. Otherwise if you are committed to one thing (no blame/100% responsibility) and they are committed to another (blaming/being a victim) then you will have drama. We suggest you look to be part of teams who want to play the same "game" you do.

I love this video except it labels people as ‘above’ or ‘below the line’ True we can all think of people who hang out more in each zone. And judge ourselves as a ‘mostly above the line type person’ as those watching this video likely are. But I would be more comfortable using this video if it focused more on everyone locating where we are in each situation individually and collectively and how to name it and ask questions to move to better outcomes.

We believe that people are bouncing above and below the line moment to moment in most situations. This model is not meant to suggest people are either above or below the line in life or even around one situation.

The term 'drama triangle' is already taken. I found this confusing as I didn't at first realise this video isn't about the 'drama triangle' used by Eric Berne in Transactional analysis. It was proposed by San Francisco psychiatrist Stephen B. Karpman. See Wikipedia.

I’ve watched a countless number of these videos and the triangle shit doesn’t make any sense! 😂 What does any of this have to do with real life? I don’t know! Maybe I’m just slow. 😂 I watched several times and I am honestly at a loss! I just cannot grasp this concept for some reason. 😢

Great exercises. Our society's education, starting in childhood through to higher education, does little to equip us to understand and manage feelings. There's a big deficit in the workplace and adults in general when it comes to recognizing the difference between fact and feeling, let alone how to process and manage it.
