Eh, we don't have direct evidence that Fillbots 3 was going to be in it. Just cause the tinybots still exist in a buggy way isn't really proof in this case. Now, Micro-Row 3 does have an actual icon to go with it (used here) and in the Japanese version the practice text exists and is updated, that's very direct evidence.

It all depends Doing the tickflow (basically the chart the game follows) can take an afternoon if I have it planned out (or in this case, it already exists, and I just had to translate it to Megamix) Making the music file takes basically no time at all, assuming I have the music ready Doing the textures can take the longest, for this one it was just adapting existing ones, so it didn't take too long The prologue took me a couple of days, partly cause the tool corrupted the file and I had to start over, but also I just had to adapt an existing one, so it was easier than if I had to make an original one The textures can take the longest for sure, I have a lot of mods where there's just one thing holding them back, and epilogue art is one of the biggest holdbacks
That's a quirk of the international release, they changed Lockstep and Lockstep 2's color palettes likely to reduce the risk of seizures, but as you say, the offbeat background color in the first one ends up nearly indistinguishable. In Megamix, they kept the Japanese color palette, and this mod is consistent with that.
maybe some of sofuto's inputs were a little early or late but still close enough for the game to count it. Megamix is overall more lenient in general, after all
