No. Its a far more superior system to what the default system is. Its able to hold lane lines better and in bad weather conditions as well. Also its follow distance capabilities are better.
Hey brother does honda cars stops a lights and stop signs? I just purchased my comma3x but there is not that much info about honda accord hybrid 2022 to stop at lights and stop signs
@kevmaninc201 it does not? Them I did a compulsive purchase, there not there yet do you know how I can get a refund.$ 1400 it's a down payment on a use tesla 2021 with FSD. I'm not nerd adding complex codes and shit. Thanks for the head up I almost open the box 📦
You mentioned that it will come to a full stop if you let it. Would this be useful in bumper-to-bumper traffic? Like will it slow down to zero, accelerate and decelerate as the car ahead of you moves?
@@kevmaninc201 Nice. Intend on getting a Comma 3x when I get my Prius, or Honda hybrid will just have to check the compatability to see which one works with Comma.
You wont understand it until you try it. The stock system has many issues, for example it is unable to keep lane keep assist when its raining too hard and the wipers are at full speed. Next, the lanes are always lost with the stock system and LKAS disengages quite frequently which gets very annoying. The stock system forces you to have to touch the steering wheel every 30 seconds which is also very annoying. When the car comes to full stop it will not engage or continue driving on its own (note this feature requires a more custom software). There are many many more differences but those are the main ones.
@@kevmaninc201then you should have shown those features in the video. You’ve not demonstrated anything that my Honda can’t do straight from the factory
@@spearen this is not true try driving without touching your steering wheel every 30 seconds. Also the stock built in system loses lane lines a lot during a course of driving. Comma can maintain itself for hundreds of miles without having the driver intervene. I write this as I am doing a 1200 mile drive for which I didn’t actually have to drive the car but be a passenger.
@@SuperTakeoff having driven thousands of miles using this thing I can safely say once you use it you will never want to go back to driving without it.
It's a DEV Kit system called Comma.ai Openpilot. its not really a consumer product because of legal reasons. It is completely legal though and requires some know how to use. But if you know how to use it then you cna make the car drive itself.
Hi, Probably my question is not related to CR-V. I am still with C2 and OpenPilot. Obviously, I'm stuck with 0.8.13. Do u know any fork that still support C2, beyond that 0.8.13? Does the Sunnypilot? Or any other fork
