Hi I’m Ran and I run this RU-vid channel called Beyond the Blackboard on how to “live your best life” at GCSE / A level time and beyond.
It’s been 10 years since I left school and I’ve crammed a lot in that time. I want to share what I’ve learned in my time as a Science teacher, working across many industries and travelling the world. To help you with questions like “how do I get top grades?”, “what I do after school?”, even “who do I want to be?
If that sounds interesting subscribe to keep up with weekly vids and please do comment any topics you’d like me to cover :)
Longitudinal wave's vibrations travel in the same direction as of energy transfer while transverse wave's vibrations travel perpendicular to the direction of energy transfer
This is just misinforming and regionally specific. None of what you said is true for apprentices where I live They make barely above minimum, rarely get hired out of school, and have to take out loans to attend said schooling So the only saving grace is they can do Uni later? Right, way to sell us on apprenticeships bud
They should have more schools and colleges for Adults that have decent courses available and not a crappy Hairdressing level 2 BTEC! Ugh! (Not that hairdressing is bad or anything!) They just seem to make it harder for private candidates!
Everyone nowadays ruining their informational work with annoying overly loud cheesy generic background music. What a pity, could not make it through, it's so annoying.
These advices are really useful. I dont have time to write the papers on my own, having two jobs. In this regards, essay writing websites are my lifesaviors. I use myeasypaper now, and they are really great: I like the fact that I can chat with the write
I just found this video and got the learning tracker and i have the list of words now for the Greek language. You have no idea how much you helped me just now. Going to subscribe and see if you have more of these amazing tips and tricks to help me study. I have to admit the list isn't completely filled in, some words have the english word again in the translation box or there's a wrong Greek word there, but that's okay. I can just look for them and add them to the list. It's 4 am another sleepless night but that's okay too haha.. I can't thank you enough!!! But thank you is all i can say. I am from Holland but there's way more info in English about the Greek language so i am doing it in English. Which is fine, this way i can get more advanced in English at the same time i study Greek. Many greetings xxx Juliette
For ocr a Biology alevel practical 12 is a research practical what would you be doing, in terms of what is the research about and would they provide me with a topic to research and only then and there in the lab I’d be researching that specified topic? What is that practical about?
Funny because nowadays it’s taboo to talk about how hard you worked. You’d get more respect if you look like you didn’t do any work but still managed to ace the exam
Become your own boss, learn business. That's what I'm going to do. 16 w/ big plans that will come true. Streetwear clothes Like nike, corteiz stuff like that
Hello sir i want to.ask you i am new in uk i didn't do gcse so i don't know anything about their education system i wait 2 year at home and when i apply in any school they said no avaliable seat. So when i turn 16 they said know she have to apply for collage. So they said she can't take bio and chemistry so.i start health and social care. Know someone told me you can do gcse from home and privately and give exam. I.wanna ask you what is diffrence between foundation tier and Higher tier i really don't understand and this is my choice which i choose and tell me which is best please.
Foundation limits your grade to a maximum of 5 (between C and B grade). Higher tier test is more difficult (Most people do higher tier if they want to do A levels). Higher tier test maximum grade is a 9 (A*) and lowest grade is 6 (B) unless you fail the test. Most people do a minimum of 9 GCSE subjects
Not necessarily, as long as you understand the concepts and it makes sense, it's not hard. For example, I'm doing 2 months worth of a biology online course this week and working on it 3 hours a day, and remain pretty focused. I don't even like biology that much and it's essentially worthless to me outside of grades.
