Hey thanks for the insight man! How do you manage to start the playback simultaneously on both machines? Is the host USB input on the PlayAUDIO12 handling both DAWs on its own if it's setup correctly? I got some MIDI infomation running off of my project to feed the Kemper. How can I include them on this redundancy setup?
Hi! The 2 projects must be the same on the 2 machines, the synch is done via usb, the iConnectivity synch the play and stop and midi alone, so you need to implement the same MIDI infos on both the unit, so if there will be a problem on one unit, the other will be the "main"
@@chrisbehavior7659 Can work with other DAWs; I used Ableton because at the time of the video I used the external controller for start and stop and was compatible only with Ableton, now is open to other DAWs
I appreciate that they provided .wav files of their official demo. I can hear a meaningful difference even on my phone speaker. Nothing seems off from the DAW either. I have to say, I'm intrigued! 🤩
the singer did not deliver the same performance, so it sounded at -10 the best.. but, it depends on the mic also.. I had better performances with a tlm102 rather than with u87 because I could crank up the pre more with tlm102..
I happen to be in the market for a Sontec replacement. My old Sontec(s) are getting too old... Thanks for the demo! I'd like a black panel for myself.🤨
Just came back from their website. The photo of inside surprisingly reminded me of elysia.... I guess this is fairly-priced then. Their 1178 looks even more interesting to me. Are you going to review it some time?
@@MadSteex vorrei prendere questo joyo va bene come preamp? dato che sul palco per i grossi concerti ho eliminato la testata e la cassa per comodità lavoro con inear
In recent years, everyone who sees the money earned on the internet wants to become a content producer youtuber. What is mentioned in this video is a good resource for those who really want to work hard. Health to your work.
8:30 That strings look cool, but the color coating, prevent them to groud the bass when you touch the strings. Regular strings makes ground connection with the bridge so when you are touching them, the noise drops as does when you touch the bridge.
Actually is not a string fault I’ve discovered the issue only opening the plate of the pot and closing, probably something were touching, like soldering parts. Now is ok
@@MadSteex yes, the cause of the noise could be it, but what i meant was that, with regular strings without coating, the noise reduction you had when you touched the bridge or the plate, you would have it touching the stings. I'm not very good at english, but google "coated strings and grounding" there are some forum discussions that could explain better than me.
I have the A7v's, A4v's and A44H and they all sound awesome with a Sub, had a number of monitors but these really shine, so invested in a 5.1. Perfect. Nice review 😊
Always pumped to see new brands coming out - looks solid, sounds epic. I've been bored with Neve & SSL for ages. They're decent no-brainer choices, but it becomes uncool when you can get them everywhere. I know it depends on how you use it, but nothing beats the excitement of discovering something new. Probably ordering mine soon!
Their website said UK now it’s CHINAA! Trying to mask the fact isn’t a good look. People care about that stuff! Not you I mean them. The year we are in is irrelevant! Sounds ok I guess but damn those pot clicks are loud 🤣🫣
@Mike-vr7mb try to find negative things everywhere only because is made in china sounds racist to me. Also my voice on the video sounds ok no? Yeah I use eq and compressor in post, and you know that the click noise passed through my vocal mic? Again, judge the sound
