Yep, there’s no denying it’s a great place to live based on what you mentioned and what I have seen. Traffic is definitely one of the big disadvantages around here right now as I really think they need to get some roads building for the next few years as traffic is a nightmare here.

I currently live at the Aster, an affordable downtown housing complex completed a little over a year ago. 2 bd, 2 ba for just over $1,900/mo. If I could purchase it for about $250k, I would do it in a heartbeat.

A company is scouting me for an HVAC job and they want to fly me out there. I'm a single father with a young daughter and I'm just a little nervous saying yes but this is a great opportunity since I'm still a beginner. Any tips that weren't in the video that you might think are useful I would be grateful.

I'm debating about making a trip to the Ogden and SLC area to check it out as a potential place to move to. I guess my main concerns are what I've heard about the air quality kind of not being super great when a storm rolls by due to the mountains. And of course how the states government has been influenced by religious leaders. Is anyone able to comment on those two concerns?

Hello There, I have been analyzing your RU-vid Channel last 4 days. Your RU-vid Channel and Video SEO page is down to rank. Do you even know? If it remains like that then your audiences will never find you through RU-vid Search. It must be on RU-vid First Page! If you want to do SEO for your every video then you must need some keywords to rank your podcast RU-vid Channel . I can do keyword research and proper video and channel Optimization for you to rank your channel and your video rank you up. How does that sound?

Does Saratoga Springs get more snow in the winter because being so close to the lake?
@LivingInSaltLakeCity
@LivingInSaltLakeCity Месяц назад
Not particularly. Most of the snow dumps on the other side of the lake near the Wasatch mountains

Yeah!! I love Einstein Bagels. If you work remote it is one of the best places to be, but if you have to commute, it's a bit rough, and trending in the wrong direction

Hi Cody! My wife and I are looking to finish our working careers and retire somewhere but allergies are an issue. How is the allergy situation in Provo? Or can you recommend somewhere. My friend moved to SLC but we are more into nature. Thank you:)
@LivingInSaltLakeCity
@LivingInSaltLakeCity Месяц назад
Hi @michaelm2502, great question! The allergies will be mostly the same regardless of where you move. Of course if you are next to an open field they will likely be worse, but in the suburbs, they are all mostly the same. I get spring allergies from about middle of May through early July, but then they go away. Lots of people are in a similar situation actually. I'd recommend coming out and seeing what it is like for you.
@LivingInSaltLakeCity
@LivingInSaltLakeCity Месяц назад
To further clarify on this video, I still believe that Saratoga Springs is one of the best cities in the metro area. You get large, new, amazing homes, at a relatively fair price with amazing views all across the area. However, the traffic and lack of infrastructure planning in the area is a negative that you have to consider as a trade off. As always, thanks for watching!

Seems expensive. What’s a good wage/salary there?
@LivingInSaltLakeCity
@LivingInSaltLakeCity Месяц назад
Depends who you ask. The median wage here is higher than average. Cost of housing is high, but our other costs are about the national average. A "good wage" in my opinion would be $80k+ to be honest.

Moved to Utah from SoCal in December 09. Never looked back! First thing I did: got my CCL. Plus among other accomplishments and experiences: I got to ride my ATV up to the state capitol. Got helicopter skiing/boarding mission, rode the sand dunes of Little Sahara on a Fourtrax with paddle tires, having an Uber take me and my mountain bike to Alta where from there I just coast back home. Really cool place!

When looking at older houses, what build years would be the oldest recommended? When I look at houses on Zillow, I typically look for houses built no older than 2014.
@LivingInSaltLakeCity
@LivingInSaltLakeCity Месяц назад
Depends on what you are comfortable with. The general ranges are 1900-1960's , then 1960-1980's, then 1990-2014 or so, and then 2017- present. Lots of code updates and style changes during this time.
