I love this and I will like and I will subscribe your personality is why you're straightforward and I'm sorry you don't like your mask I like it enough for both of us
They are both a petroleum base thinner so I would assume you could use either . But don't quote me on that. I use paint thinner in the Testers paint that I use.
I use Testers enamel . But the best is Humbrol Model Enamel paint . You can fined it on Amazon and Ebay . I use Testers just because its easier to find.
Can you do this in a bathtub? Does the water have to be hot? Always use gloss paint for swirl painting? What kind of thinner do you put in the paint? I wanna do an acoustic guitar, but i'm gonna practice on some other stuff
This "borax". I live in Denmark. I don't know how to find it in Denmark. And i can't really find anything on google about what it is. Other than some type of "laundry booster" In Denmark we have washing powder. Why is this so special? and how do if its in a washing powder :)
+mastersun188 The borax helps to create surface tension on the water. Helps the paint spread out on top of the water . You can get Borax on ebay . I really don't know what to tell you other than I have always used the borax but I have seen videos where they didn't use it and it still worked . Good luck
+mastersun188 Hey! I had a really hard time, trying to get Borax in Norway. I found out (eventually), they sell borax at businesses that deal with melting and refining gold! I cant remember what the place was called.. Anyhow, "Gold Melting" these are your clues! :D I will post again, if i suddenly recall name of the place.
Great job! I was wondering what wood sealer or primer did you use before hand (and how many coats)?, and, What did you use for the final clear protective coating?. :D Also, do you know if oil-based enamels mix well with lacquers?. Thanks. Any advice will be appreciated!. P.S. What proceedure do you follow when swirling your guitars? (from sanding all the way up to the final finish with the clear coat). Thanks again!. Martin.
Use Magic Marble paints ! It is no secret to do this ...its simple. Use warm water and mix some borax powder in the water. Sprinkle your favourite colours, use a toothpick or screwer to swirl paints, then dip guitar !!!
