Kip was absolutely mesmerizing in the original Seventeen video. As a young woman barely 21 at the time I watched with my tongue hanging out knowing that it wasn't cool to drool. 😂
I saw them at a smallish venue (the Center Stage)in Atlanta in the late 1980's. Still remains in my top whatever lists for best shows I've seen........
Heard this riff and its been pounding in my brain for months now thinking "Cool I have a new song to learn" Went here and just got completely fucking humbled. This is one of the tightest bands I have EVER heard they're unbelievable.
Just saw them at summer fest in mke and gave me chills the entire time. I stopped Vernon R for a photo before the show when he was walking the grounds, they all still have that energy we feed off of. This is a super group of bad mother %^+!! Can’t wait to see them again!
I saw Living Colour three times every time was awesome. Although the band as a whole, we’re always great. I definitely was enamored with Vernon Reeds playing. He’s phenomenal original and quite frankly doesn’t get enough credit.
Marlon's talk at MJs funeral about how he was treated by the tabloids and mainstream media, the accusations, malicious gossip, betrayal by people he trusted and loved, and prison-like isolation at MJs memorial cut to my soul: "How much pain can one man take?"
this was an INSANELY TALENTED band! By the way, did anybody listen to the lyrics? This is the twin of Baba O"Reilley. That's 40 YEARS AGO! Every word is relevant today.
