This video has a glaring error/omission.... in calculating capacity of the well, it's hardly simply a matter of knowing the depth of the well. IllinoisDPH should be ashamed of themselves for not catching this error, either when the film was made, or all these years after.
exactly, rather astonishing that this supposed expert video would "take for granted" that viewers will know how to calculate well depth... (no explanation that this is the different between the depth of the well and the static water line)
DEAR SIR/ MADAM One of the prevention measures to stop the spread of the CORONA VIRUS will be to isolate those who tested positive and those (who get sick because of the virus) and give care and hospitalization at the right place where all proper preparation and setup is made. However we have seen at some nursing homes and assistance living places here in ILLINOIS, some of the residents who have test positive and some who got sick because of the virus and are still staying in the facility. And in fact some facility are still admitting some who have shown symptom of the virus. This is completely irresponsibleness. Allowing those who acquire the virus stay and live among the seniors at the facility will be devastating and it will be the most irresponsible thing to do. There fore as citizens of Illinois we will request the DPH,GOVERNOR AND THE CORONA VIRUS TASK FORCE TO GIVE THE RIGHT ENFORCEABLE DIRECTIVE before we are hit with the devastating consequences. CONCERNED CITIZENS
I’m curious, why would adding water in the well activate the pump? What in the pump it activated and you’re taking Water out by running water in the home?
You are taking the bleached water and sucking it up the pump into the pressure tank then back down the inside wall of the well encasement. basically cycling the cleaning agent around and around for proper cleaning. Once that is done you have to get all the bleach out of the lines of the house. This has an added benefit of cleaning out your house pipes of some bacteria and viruses.
Lots of quotable thoughts from Scott! Volunteers need to know how valuable their time is to us. Be sure to let them know! Thanks for reminding us of that Scott.
