WWF's international Forest and Climate Programme works to ensure that the "Conservation of tropical forests as carbon stores is secured by green economic development that benefits people, the climate and biodiversity in transformational ways."
While the content of the presentation is commendable, the audio quality leaves much to be desired. The presenter's voice may be pitched too high, resulting in difficulty understanding the lecture despite their evident expertise in the subject matter.
Comunidades de la Amazonía, deberían participar en los PROYECTOS EDUCATIVOS NACIONALES, más aun con los desafíos y oportunidades que trajo la PANDEMIA MUNDIAL.
Terrific! What a great comprehensive, interdisciplary, rooted in practice, reflection, peer to peer learning and use of technology. How did you get the first funding to start? We are currently working with support from Ford to establish connections between indigenous communities in Bolivia and connect and network on forest and land restoration and means of better defend and recoup. I will be reaching out to to find out more. Great work congrats!
There's a really cool search engine that plants trees, called "Ecosia ". It lets you know how many trees it has planted on the main search engine page. And if you get the app, which is free, it shows you how many trees your searches alone have planted. In a year I have planted about 2200 trees, so the app is always my browser. Tell more people! Here is the link: www.ecosia.org

Hello! Thank you for uploading the learning sessions. Some sessions don't have a very good audio quality. This is a good example. This makes it very hard to understand and follow. I suggest you please a) improve the audio, and/or b) generate subtitles. I hope this comment is taken into account. Best wishes.
Thanks for this webinar. I listened the RU-vid version and found it inspiring, especially the presentation of the case study. CIFOR has conducted a feasibility study of participatory MRV (PMRV) for the last 2 years. We looked at the conditions for PMRV to be feasible and sustainable, with a focus on why local community would want to participate, and whether participation in reporting and verification was possible. We have a PMRV project website that explains our approach and shares our methods and preliminary results (through publications, posters, presentations, and video). The link is www.cifor.org/pmrv/home.html. I'll be happy to have your feedback. All the best. Manuel Boissière
