@user-sm1ei5cc4w Generally around 12psi worked well. I think I went as low as 8psi. They are C load tires so they deform A LOT compared to an E load tire at the same pressure so I didn't want to go any lower.
My Canyon has had this issue for years - took it in so many times under warranty to the useless dealership near me. Always "within spec" - just like the horrendous 1.5inch 'chevy lean' my truck came from the factory with

My '02 got totalled in a 4 car freeway pile up, so i started driving my '00 (work truck) around town again, no prob - still remarkably reliable. My new '06 is better of course, but the 1st gen 3.3L engine guzzles less gas. lookin for an '04 right now with low miles & the last 3.3Ls they put in'em, just to compliment the '06, & then finally say goodbye to "Hi Ho Silver" the '00. 24 y/o, almost 300k on the odometer, & still burnin rubber - amazing! 😥
Haha I figured you'd recognize it but it's pretty obscure with all the snow and limited visibility. Perfect conditions. Made it all the way from Washington to Faucherie.
So I feel like I wouldn't travel. This road in the middle of summer during a drought. I can't imagine doing it in the middle of winter during a snow storm.😮
It's ok. 😁 Even in the summer It's a single lane path and kinda scary the first few times. Especially if you meet a vehicle going the other direction. 😬
It really depends on the snow depth, weight of the vehicle etc.. But for a normal 1/2ton vehicle or lighter then I'd start and 15psi and work your way down as needed. I ran as low as 8psi with the truck in the video without beadlock wheels but I drove carefully to avoid losing a bead. The C load tires are pretty squishy even at 12psi so you get plenty of footprint increase.
I didn't even know the rock was there on the first try. 😳 I couldn't understand why i got stopped. I think it got buried on the 2nd run. The path was really narrow so backing down was sketch.

Thank you! I appreciate that. You should be fine running those tires. You may need to trim a little of the plastic up front depending on your caster alignment settings or have the alignment redone. There is a kit available that removes the "waffle" at the front of the wheel well which causes the most issues with larger tires.

@bdonzi I had King coilovers so I was right around 2" to 2.5" from those and a 1" body lift. The lift from the coilovers was less than when I had the Eibach kit at the 2.7" setting. The body lift helps obviously but not needed for a 32" tire. I ran 255/75/17s on this truck bone stock without issues.
Its an off-road vehicle, he built it to go off-road, If it's not for you, then it's not for you there's no need to say anything. Considering he modified it specifically to go off-roading with, I don't think he really cares about a few dings or scratches from some gravel.
Unfortunately I totalled the truck a few thousand miles after that. Despite going off the road, down an embankment, through bushes, blackberries and having to winch myself back up to the road the tires were fine. My thoughts still stand. I do not feel they are the best in wet conditions but they are not bad by any means. Solid tire overall.
