Happily living in NYC. Beauty is my life! Perfumes are my pashion! Let me entertain you with stories of Legendary Perfumes and the Legends who wore them. 😘💖💫🥂💋💄😘
A fan of mine gifted me a bottle of a real original unused bottle of Mitsouko and also bought my fragrance (which is still out and very glamorous but not like mitsouko at all it’s even so different le h’eure Blue, that’s Barbara Parkins FAVOURITE perfume (Payton Place, Valley Of The Dolls (I’m friends and so lucky to be with Sharon Tate’s sister Debra). I think Jean Harlow too wore that, all my love- Matthew Decker xx
Hi Mona Darling ❤ Can you do a video on Deodorant, my favorite is made by Wella it's a spray that is rose scented. It reminds me of old Hollywood. Keep making videos, you're a beautiful doll 💐
A few weeks ago I watched a movie which Barbra Streisand and Lauren Bacall play, and I watched again, Miss Bacall catched all the movie with her hirony! I imagine her totally as your experience with her, a very expontaneous but silent woman!
love Jayne Mansfield. Not fair to pit Jayne and Marilyn against each other, they were both brilliant and gorgeous in their own unique ways. I'm glad you recognize that as well.
@@quixodeath8879 Absolutely!! MM in 1955 told James Haspiel when he asked her "How do you feel about about JM going to work at your studio, at fox? And she replied "I just wish that she'd realize that there is room for all of us". 💖✨🥂💫
Hi Mona, you have such great insight… never knew Librans are known for collecting perfumes… I have a winter signature perfume that I have been wearing for decades, and another signature perfume I like for summer, then numerous perfumes in between lol. 😂❤
She also adored a fragrance from Harry Lehman’s store in Berlin called “Veilchen.” They have been around since 1926 and they still have the original formulations. Frau Tonis also has it. It’s so beautiful and smells like Toulousian violets. Violets were all the rage in the roaring 20s 🎉 It’s an absolutely gorgeous fragrance and my holy grail, slightly vintage but still modern. You can only get it in Berlin, but it’s worth a trip for such an iconic fragrance that captures the lovely essence of such an iconic woman when she was in her prime. ❤
I have always been so fascinated and loved Jean so much! My fave film is Girl from Missouri! I have always wanted Mitsuko but now I want L’heure Bleue! Anything to connect closer to Jean! Thank you for the video! 💖
Wonderful video Mona, appreciate you sharing your perfumery knowledge and telling us such great stories, thank you. You are the most gentle and beautiful trans. So wonderful to hear when you visit Serendipity, you are addressed as Marilyn, and seated at her table. I pray the current owners of Marilyn’s Brentwood home don’t go ahead with demolishing it. Blessings to you
What a beautiful surprise seeing a US American talking about the Queen of Latin American Divas, the unique and beautiful Maria Felix. She was my granny’s favorite star and I admire her as well. Strong, unapologetic, independent, irreverent and irresistibly beautiful like no other. I have Joy in her honor and wear it on her birthday. But despite I tried to make a good research, I couldn’t find information about other perfumes she favored. One day she said she layered other perfumes with Joy, but until this day I never discovered the others, but I’m glad I have Youth Dew without knowing she liked it. Thank you so much for unveiling those mysteries to those who admire La Doña!
white shoulder is easyly found on tjs and shws but in a more simple presentation ,those botttles i never put my eyes on before, where to get those.thank you for all the presentation.
