Thanks! testing our memory but from the Turbo FA20 set up it was approx 20kg heavier, but the engine was approx. 100mm further back and we lost the weight of Turbo and intercooler (about 30kg) that was out the front.
Quick question. How has the VK affected the weight distribution of the car? If it has affected it significantly, how are you working around it/dealing with it?
This is a different car, this one is still FA20 turbo. In our car, the VK ended up weighting about the same. the gearbox moved back slightly, and we lost the 30Kg of turbo/intercooler hanging over the front of the axle.

For us in the states, How about Wilwood EXP 600 Plus Hi Temp Racing fluid for my Wilwood 4 disk conversion? It has a Dry boiling point of 626*F, wet 417*F

May seem like a silly question but apart from price is there any disadvantage to using the HIGHER performance racing oriented fluids in street use? Even their wet boiling points far exceed the dry of the others. So seems like there isn’t really a drawback since mentioned proper lubricity and protection not like it’s more corrosive and requires more maintenance to seals and other components?
Hi ae86det, Apart from their shorter service interval, no real disadvantage. We'll often use AP Racing R2 and Brembo LCF600 in road going, track driven cars. Despite a small drop in boiling points (wet/dry) fluids like AP5.1 and Brembo Sport Evo 500++ have a longer service interval, which in a performance road car is a great thing as you'll spend less time working-on and more time driving your car!
We found that trying to push over 25psi the heads were lifting, we happened to find this engine at the same time we were looking at options for the FA20 and it ended up being that the VK56 was the best way to go. We plan to do more than just time attack so doing lots of back to back laps the v8 won!
@@cammgt3rs370 it's good enough for my brakes opperating at 700 degrees celcius. So are some others. But I know it works, and I have no need to experiment with something else.
