After Jilles won at Heemested, Tamiya won 5 out of 7 Worlds! They were UNTOUCHABLE and every successful car was basically a 416 copy. Then the 417V5 came out as a direct copy of Jilles Worlds winning car complete with the aeration/emulsion shocks TRF used to get NEGATIVE rebound as this event BANNED all traction compound (but did allow tire warmers) and the emulsion shocks were perfect for this super low traction surface. The problem with the 417V5 was that it was garbage on medium and high bite and the BD7 was a MUCH better car. Tamiya lost the 2014 Worlds to Naoto and the BD7z Yokomo won again with Ronald in 2016. Tamiya called it quits and disbanded their factory team, and by 2018, Bruno was fully in his bag and the T4 was probably the best asphalt car available. 2020 was canceled and 2022 Bruno ran a FLAWLESS race with the (even better) X4. Now that Tamiya has a modern car in the 421 (the 420 and 420X, while good cars were basically what Xray was doing in 2016 lol) I hope they get a factory team going again and get Marc, Jillles and Victor back on the team. And Naoto too. I think they would have a shot sat this years Worlds with the right drivers. Marc won 3 World Titles in TC with Tamiya, I know he would LOVE to come back! TRF/Tamiya fanatic for LIFE!!
Ronalds Auto hat angefangen, immer mehr über die Vorderachse zu schieben. Er hat immer früher vom Gas gehen müssen und dadurch wurde er immer langsamer. Bruno hat öfters zurück gesteckt. Aber in der letzten Kurve hat Ronald die Tür zu weit offen gelassen und ist dann trotzdem nach innen gefahren, wo Bruno schon auf halber Höhe des Fahrzeugs war. Man sieht es daran, dass die Vorderräder von Ronalds Auto voll nach rechts eingeschlagen sind, aber das Fahrzeug den Radius nicht fährt. Ronald hätte zurück stecken müssen, aber hat gehofft, noch vorbei zu kommen. Er hat den Crash selbst provoziert. Das kann ich beurteilen aus über 40 Jahren Rennerfahrung.
It is so unfair race for Volker. If the managing director of these competition does not do anything, it will slowly take away spirits of the race and spectators.
That was amazing. Hard luck to Ronald - a great effort. Bruno is almost unstoppable at the moment. I'm glad he didn't take TQ because it made the racing very exciting. A great event it seems. Thanks for the videos Red, shame they couldn't broadcast live, I was looking for it at the time.
Yeah let's hack the other guy and let you teammate win. Wow... worst racing etiquette ever. Wait happen twice? And lots of previous track record with dirty driving. Penalty should be enforced here
Honestly, look at Völkers racing line. He was off the apex a few times and Bruno needed to break earlier to avoid a crash. Unfortunately they touched. It happens often and the other guys do it also
I agree. When traction is that high, even for the pro's it is difficult. You can see them turning in to early sometimes and lifting wheels onto the straight.
