Am I the only one who thinks that if it was worth £2m in a sorry state in the 1990s, it really should be worth more than £10m all done up beautifully in the 2020s?
2:26 Renaldo, the self-proclaimed kitchen and bathroom fitter, sought his father's counsel on whether a sink and cooker could be installed in close proximity to one another. This inquiry revealed his lack of credible training in kitchen fitting. It would have been more fitting for him to describe himself as an enthusiastic contestant or DIYer, eager to tackle any task in his quest to enhance the house's value and secure a profit from its sale.
Numerous comments suggest that Paul should have received some form of compensation. Nevertheless, it was his decision to leave, fully aware that he would receive nothing more than the experience he had gained. The important lesson he ought to have learned is the value of seeking multiple evaluations or quotes before making a decision regarding renovating and selling property.
My brother and i made that beautiful coffee table at 00.48secs. 60 years ago, at my fathers caravan factory in Walton on Thames just 3 or 4 miles away from this wonderful Huf House in Sxxxxx xxxxs rd., Weybridge UK. After all these years i recognised it immediately because, as teenagers, we mades it for our parents house in closeby Woking. We would get offcuts or timber with defects from a chap who made this style of table, and this beautiful piece has a hole in it, so he gave it to us. Makes me very proud to see it appreciated and in this fab house.👍👍🇬🇧 Edit...... anyone know where the coffee table is now??
Everyone received generous compensation for their time and service, except for the two contestants who exerted the most effort, along with their family and friends who supported them. In essence, the production company is guilty of modern-day slavery, which it disguises as television entertainment.
What an appalling estate agent, so negative and no way you would want to use him. Then the figures don't even add up to any profit even before the money they spent on it.
Didn't even have to watch the video. Saw 'Daddy' and the young blonde in the thumbnail and came straight to the comments. And fair play people, you didn't let me down on this one 😂😂😂
I love Kirsty & Phil, after watching them for almost 25 years they are like old friends. However, i am dismayed at the price of property in 2024. How will regular people jobs ever afford to own a home?
1st here and I would like to say that Eli is an absolute legend. I don't think he actually realises how skilled he is, even at the age of 17. He is definitely going places.
The older guy specifically said he did not want a small dog, so they find and show him two small dogs. I will be surprised if he takes either. I really don't like the idea of them choosing dogs for another person as you don't see them first and there could be a dog that they like but are not shown.
Stunning renovation. I would have used a hoover to move the fly to a darker spot but his idea still work. He needs his own RU-vid page dedicated to his works 💯
Thing is the man that is brave enough to get the house back in good shape shouldn't have to face a big mouth's wife complaining all the time. Building takes time, specially houses in the UK that have been neglected for years(just a pile of rotten stuff, it seems that the English people loves a good pose looking after their gardens but in reality their houses are a proper mess ), if you're not going to help then at the least the thoughtful and be quiet, don't take it for granted.
In my experience those houses need to start from the roof. New roof, may require reframe it,... then work your way down. Rake off back to the brick, usually lath and plaster or sand and cement is already failing and falling which could cause serious range of issues including damp. Be prepare to expend on skip.
