Sir my MRI report says - si joint reveals subtle patchy STIR hyperintense marrow signal in left hemisacrum involving periarticular region.what does it means Please reply sir
@@DrAhmedDAbdulwahab sir I have already taken anti inflammatiory treatment for 6 month but their is no improvement, and pain increasing day by day in legs nerves also,i have consulted with neurologist, orthopaedic, rheumatologist, general physician and all are saying everything is normal🥲
Sir what does it mean by marrow infiltrative lesion in l5 s1 possibiloties are myeloporative disorder,lymphoma,metastasis..sir can i send my report to you?
I'm here because my 6-year-old had an ultrasound due to a mass in her suprasternal notch. The report describes it as "Underlying the palpable area in the midline clavicular notch region, there is a 14 x 11 x 8 mm isoechoic solid nodule with mild hyperechogenicity within. Probably a prominent lymph node." Based on your presentation, she likely will need CT or MRI, biopsy probably for an official diagnosis. It's been visible/palpable/not painful for a few years I don't think it's a lymph node. Thanks for this presentation.
Hello, it's really hard to find MRS information online... Since MRS focuses on small tissue and generates spectrum; are there any additional risk from normal MRI? Also, is it efficent to check T2 hyperintensities that does not look like tumor when patient heavily alergic to gd?
There are no additional risks from normal MRI, and if the T2 hyperintensities not look like a space occupying lesions, then there is no need to do MRS to them
Thaaaaaanks alot for your great efforts Could you recommend book(s)(or chapter within a book ❤😅) for beginners in neuroradiology ,pleeeeeeease? Thaaaaaanks from heart 🤍 💙
Thanks so much sir. Sir my last query..please help me sir.. You are GOD TO ME.. My age 31 .. I am having pain frm last 1 year in lower back and unilateral neck.. Pain near upper buttocks and sacrum. Blood reports are normal Hla b27 negative .. All rehumatologic tests are normal.. Done mri ls spine and si joint.. Ls spine Mri says herniated disc l4l5s1 with lumbar canal stenosis.. Si joint mri ... 1. Bilateral si joint are normal 2. No obvious bony destruction and erosion are noted. 3 articular cartilage are remarkable. 4.. SACRUM AND ILLAC BONES SHOW FATTY MARROW CHANGES.. i am so much worried about fatty marrow changes.. is it normal or something dangerous like fatty infiltration or reconversion or bone marrow disorder or else.. PLEASE HELP ME. ..PLEASE
Dear freind, thank you for the nice words There is no need to be worried, the fatty marrow is a non significant finding , your main problem is the disc prolapse, I would recommend that you do some swimming and physiotherapy, if no improvement, consult a spine surgeon for possible intervention to repair the disc Thank you again
