As a Hawks fan, no crowd or home ice ever compared to 2010. Team became too popular in the city and the league. Tickets were absurd and you could tell in the crowds. Not nearly as loud with the corporate millionaires golf-clapping and very few diehards. The star players knew the difference too. Watch Kane at 1:10
You're a legend for making these videos, they're the perfect antidotefor the offseason sadness waiting for hockey to come back. I can't imagine how much work this takes and we appreciate it!! Idk if you take requests but I would love to see every goal from the 2014-2015 season. Or a Corey Crawford compilation would be sick too, there aren't any good ones on this whole site and he was so underappreciated
His signature move where he cuts to the right side of the net and hits a backhand roof shot from about 5 feet out never gets old, I would always pop off every time he pulled that off. I will never understand how he is able to elevate the puck so much on the backhand so close to the net, nobody else can do it the way he does. Truly a one of a kind player and we were blessed to enjoy his artistry for so many years
You realized how good this team was?. We could’ve won 4-5 Stanley cups from 2009-2015. This team had its struggles through those years via Detroit in 09. The Nashville and Kings. But if they could’ve became the greatest team of the 2010s and probably the 21st century if they somehow were able to win 3-4 straight. But no doubt about it they fought through the injuries and fought through tough games and were still able to give the city of Chicago 3 championships in 6 years.
Also this streak is interesting. Maybe he's become conscious of this and tries extra hard in the first game vs them. The last new teams he faced in reverse order: Chicago - 1st game goal Seattle - 1st game goal Vegas - 1st game goal Arizona - 1st game goal Winnipeg - 1st game goal Also if you go to Kane's 08 game log, in a weird scheduling thing that must have been how it was back then, the Hawks didn't play the entire Atlantic division during his rookie year. So we never got to see rookie Toews and Kane vs Sid and Geno, or vs the NY teams or NJ or Philly.
Love this vid and had thought of doing it myself after he completed the set. However now we see the folly in it, bc now there is Utah and the set is incomplete all over again, and he will be old and out of conference. After scoring on every opponent he ever faced it would be a shame if Utah got him late in his career like that, so I hope he can get one in next year vs them. Also while I love the detail of separating Phoenix and Arizona (two different team names), I didn't realize till Philly that you were not counting playoff goals or games in the counts. Not sure I agree w that one. The idea that he hadn't scored his first goal on Philly till 2012 just seems silly.
They talk about Bolland throwing his gloves but if you watch the Boston player holds his hands at the end of the goal. That's when he pulls his hands out.
THAT #65 A. SHAW; WAS & IS MY FAVORITE "NON-GOAL EVER" & HE WAS REALLY TRYING TO SELL TO HIS TEAMMATES?!? I STILL REMEMBER THE ANNOUNCERS STILL LAUGHING & POINTING OUT "SHAW" WHEN THE CAMERA WAS ON HIM HE WAS SHEEPISHLY GRINDING ❤🎉❤🎉
Lol I'm an Oilers fan and it's awesome seeing how much of a complete 180° the hawks and Oilers are now compared to even just 10 years ago 🤣 10-12 years ago, the Oilers were one of the worst teams in the league and the hawks one of the best, and now the Oilers are one of the best and the hawks one of the shittiest 🤣 Also, Draisaitl and Mcdavid right now are better than kane and toews were in their prime...Mcdavid has had 7 100 point seasons in the last 8 years and Draisaitl has had 6 out of the last 8 years. Kane only has 1 and toews none hahahahaha
@@UFCMania155 not even a hawks fan here bud, but I don't think anyone would be to surprised with the talent they have coming up if they win another cup before you guys, good luck with Stan bowman btw 😁
Man oh man! Just seeing some of those sweaters again is truly special! The real story of those playoffs and 2nd half of the season though was a chump in net being paid $5+ mil per year and a no name goalie stealing the Hawks drought snap!
