The Sociological Review is the home for critical sociological thinking and research in the UK and internationally. We offer a space to question taken for granted understandings of the social world, and we provide a platform for thinking about alternative possibilities for what it might be.

In order to imagine a more just future, we aim to challenge sociology’s existing boundaries through conversations with other disciplines and cultures in order to open up space for creativity, and to develop a sociological imagination that is rigorous, critical, engaged and accountable.
