0:49 - I'm a man of reasonable intelligence, but I think it would've been better if they used 7'5" instead of 90" because my non-attentive side would've seen 9'0" and thought, "Hey! I can fit an Amazon van through this bad boy!" Things would've gotten weird after that.
Ah yes the original choice wash xt. We had 2 of these bad boys in my city. Maintained very well and did a good job. One got replaced by a tunnel and the other with a saber.
Very interesting, indeed! Where I work, we have twin car washes that are 15+ years old and always need some repair (they should gut 'em and replace them). Some folks who drive through usually go too fast, and one dude broke the guiderail because he was in a hurry. The sedans and small pickups pass fine, but the large SUVs (Tahoe, Expedition, WAGONEERS) make noises like someone beating a baby seal when they pass because they constantly rub the rails. What really makes me laugh is that just one of the blowers (dryers) would work but only pushed the water to the right side of the car; they've since turned it entirely off.🤣
@@UnitedStatesCarWashChannel26 It's in Oklahoma City but inaccessible to the public (we handle fleet cars exclusively). If this is the right channel, you visited one on 23rd Street, catty-corner from Shepherd Mall, which is a bunch of government offices now (where I used to work many years ago).
@@UnitedStatesCarWashChannel26 Believe it or not, it's called "The Car Wash" (it took months of brainstorming to come up with that name, lol). Located on 23rd Street near Villa Avenue, it's mostly self-service, but they have an automatic wash with something called "Razor" doing the dirty work. I've never used it because I prefer the traditional tunnel style, and it's in a semi-sketchy neighborhood.
You’ve gotten much better at filming, good job. That HP pump really needs help. Wastes a lot of Tri Foam too. Those dryer motors sound really cool too.
Just filmed one of these for the very first time! It was an awful wash. Left a streak of soap on the middle parts of the sunroof and front of the windshield and hood.
