i listen to this song everytime my dysphoria gets very bad. its gotten even worse since i came out to my mom, she said she "respected my gender identity" but she keeps referring to me in feminine ways because it was apparently "way too hard" for her to try and my deadname has some meaning to her because im named after my grandpa, so she keeps calling me that too.. ever since then ive felt even more sick in my own body, im not sure if i can get a binder in my country but even if i can, im way too afraid to ask her for one because of this. she'll probably say no. i just feel sick in this stupid body im in at this point. im sorry for venting here, idk why but i felt like i needed to vent here but i will delete it if i have to. side note, i really love this song !! (and your music at all)
@@sammmmmm341 I’m sorry you’re going through all that (it’s perfectly fine to vent here!). if u know how to sew, I made tutorial of how to make a binder using materials that you probably have lying around, so maybe that can help? If not, just know that our bodies are not what define us, and if someone else is seeing you as something you’re not, that’s their problem. You are who you say you are, and you are not alone 💕

um big brother quin what if idk how to sew and i dont have a machine thing but im too scared to ask my mom to help cause she might ask what its for and she doesnt need to know i want a binder😰
my main suggestion would be to learn how to sew! it's actually very simple--there are plenty of tutorials online, and once you know how to sew, it becomes a really great skill to have
As a person who has autism I am having a difficult time understanding why so many people automaticity think that autism makes people introverted and reclusive. I have autism and I am very extroverted and open minded and I love being around people even though I struggle with making friends and social connections in large groups especially cliquey ones. But i still don’t push people away when they are genuinely being kind and i just honestly don’t understand in general why people use autism as an excuse to be reclusive even if it’s hurting others who genuinely want to be friends. Autism is different for everyone and I don’t think it’s an excuse for things. I am a transgender guy so I do understand that feeling wondering why and not being sure why my identity is the way it is. But I don’t think it’s my autism that makes me transgender or have dysphoria. But everyone is different.
Right; autism is different for everyone… so we shouldn’t judge others for the different areas they struggle with. I, like many other individuals with autism, struggle to connect with people no matter how many hours I spend pacing in my room planning conversations, studying social cues in group settings, or researching how to make friends. I’m not intentionally being reclusive or pushing people away; ever since I was a kid, I’d try to connect with people, but they’d push ME away because my autistic traits were dubbed “weird” and “annoying.” I used to blame myself for all the ridicule I received, until a therapist reminded me that autism isn't something I can control. Some people don't have these struggles, and I feel genuinely happy for them (and also a little jealous lol) Also, to clarify, my autism is not what “makes me transgender” or what causes my dysphoria. My autism causes me to not *understand* my gender, because gender is constructed of social cues, roles, and presentations, which are all things I struggle with due to my autism. These are just *my* experiences.
Im a cis female whos still questioning her identity(Sexuality, gender, ect.) So saving this if future me needs it also gonna boost this video/share it on youtube so it can reach more people!!!!
Thank you, I will for sure end up trying this. I'm trans ftm but my parents wont allow me to transition or even go by a male name. I was going to order a new binder since the one i had was thrown away but it would've been found easily seeing as i never have packages come in for me.
i am gonna actually cry tysm ive been insecure about my chest for 3 years straight, yet my parents are homophobic so i cannot buy a binder. Im probably also gonna ask my mom if i can get short hair, even if she might not agree. But still tysm <3 im gonna try when im back from vacation, yet im not the best at sewing too yet ill try my best lol-
