Caribbean Spice Radio started in 2003 to help close the gap when is comes to Caribbean/West Indian music. Since then the show has won several awards including: Best Caribbean Music, Best World Music & Local Liaison of Canada.

The show was founded by Narine Dat Sookram who is also the founder of "Let's Chit Chat with Narine" and the prestigious Caribbean Dreams Concert.
