Friends! Welcome to my channel. Expect to see many different kits and equipment in use. Being in the business of drum restoration, I often have many kits coming in and out of the studio! This channel is somewhat of a documentation of my restorations. Restoration is how I fuel my passion for playing this magical instrument, and I hope that you are a witness.
Do you need drums restored, repaired, or consigned? I'm your guy! Contact me through my email or Facebook business page - let's talk!
I am available for recording, touring and as a tech, too!
cant compare, tuning is too different...ludwig much lower. who knows about the heads either, or the wires. I have both brands in this era as well but 8 lug versions, they do sound different, regardless of tuning. Ludwig more attack and articulation. Wide shallow bed. Sling fatter looser woodier, less articulation, narrow deep bed
Hi Johnny, great drum, and great playing. Is it possible to take some video of the bottom side showing the left and right mechanism as well as the snare wires.
Found one of these bass drums on sale recently. Considering buying it... I need a bigger bass drum for just what you said - to cut through the mix! So many times in live playing situations the sound of the bass drum will just disappear when un-mic'ed. I am plotting my revenge against loud guitarists!
beautiful sound both ludwig more open range , slingy more compress excelent for recording, ludwig have his caracteristic vibe the same for slingerland. I have both snares, im happy.
Αmazing warm sound and great playing from one of the most beautiful drumsets ever...Slingerland still brand name...her sound is unique...Maybe with Ludwig are the King's of quality sound
I had a nickel wood mirror type set slingerland 24"bassdrum13"14tom"18"floortom maybe 60,s or 70,s and l know her sound...except the hardwares who was extra thin for these heavy duty drums and all the connections between toms and basdrum had problems
