Whats better for mpc3000 SCSI2SD V 6 or ZuluScSi ? I am still using external Zip drive no probs ..but been eying a more compact external SCSI SD solution.. would like to keep the internal flopoy drive thoug..as its kinda convinient to load fav drum kits in one go ..rather than searching trough ZIP directories to a particular drums

This has always been one of my faves from back in the day! My friends didn't care for it, but I did. The only arcade machine I have is Tempest, which is my all time fave!
Did people really build such HUGE Fast drawn boxes like that? I never saw anyone do anything but draw very thin columns about halfway to the top, and then start drawing some thin horizontal columns about halfway on either side. Then wait for the QIX to go down to one of the quadrants on the bottom and quickly ALMOST close that quadrant off so that it couldn't get back out. And then chip away at that quadrant getting as much as you can filled before it gets too tight, or the sparks are getting too scary, before finally doing a slow close of that tiny spot you left, getting almost 75% in slow draw mode. IF you did well chipping away at that quadrant, you could also get 90+% cleared. (On the Gameboy version at least, you could get the elusive 99% clear for huge bonus points.)
