There’s no exect place for pockets, It’s possible if your hands reach comfortable and good looking design. I drew pockets when I draft pants pattern with no plan for pockets, Just try any place any shape.
I’d like to upload pants pattern but what I know is not perfect for every body types. I need to study more to draft easily and perfectly for every body types.:)
This pattern is for comfortable shirts or jackets or dress, so you can use woven or knit fabric. If you want to make tight shirts or dress, you need patterns with darts. :)
If You need tight Tshirts or dresses using knit fabric, you can use this pattern becaue tight knit clothes are little bit smaller than your body size, so they don’t need darts to fit tight on your body.
The paper, to pattern, to paper, then to cloth demonstrations are EXCELLENT!!! Very clear, understandable, and jazzy. Enjoyed all of your variations. THANK YOU!
I know several ways of drafting pants pattern, but all patterns are not perfect for every body types, honestly, I don’t want to upload pants pattern until I create the perfect one.
Hi thank you for this tutorial. ❤❤❤❤ Will you post more about pattern drafting like shirt, trouser and more? I've been waiting for this tutorial tahnk you for sharing with us ❤❤❤
Thank you! It takes pretty long time for making one video. becase I am not a expert of graphic works. My next project is sewing skills of details of tshirts and tops. After that I could show you many kinds of patterns.
Darts makes clothes fit well on your body, but loose fit clothes and tshirts don’t need darts, so when you make loose fit tops dartless patterns are easy.
Thank you so much for making this video! I've watched it like 100 times to figure out a project I'm working on and could not have done it without your help.
I think I can, but I have no time for making videos these days, maybe next year I can,, and I searched image, i need to loose my weight to try it on, becase those styles fits much nicely with slim people. Anyway thanks!
@@busanfashionschool7043 ofc take your time, don’t stress it! For the pants you don’t have to loose weight you can always make them sizes bigger or model them on a mannequin, also it’s quarantine- gaining weight is pretty much expected, I wanted to make both of those types of pants since they are quite expensive and I never seen a tutorial on the baggy Tripp pants with the stitching( not the tight ones) there’s so many different kinds of Tripp pants it’s so amazing. The other ones I mentioned were dickies contrast strict pants I never seen a tutorial on those pants either-they are much like carpenter pants. Thank you for responding! I wasn’t expecting a response, I hope you are doing well and taking care of yourself! 💕
