Lemon Meringue Pie. 2 cups lemon, juice and zest. 2 cups granulated sugar. 1 tsp salt. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 2 cups powdered sugar. 2 egg whites, whipped. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1 tsp almond extract. In a large mixing bowl add the lemon juice, zest, along with the sugar, salt. In a large bowl, add the flour, baking soda. Whip up the egg whites, until fluffy, a little bit at a time add the powdered sugar, then add the vanilla extract, almond extract. Until the egg white is completely fluffy. After that put the pie crust in the oven, heat it up at 350*. Set the timer at 15-25 minutes. Let it bake until the crust is golden brown. Then add the filling to it, add the meringue on top. Bake it a little bit longer at 10 minutes. Yield: 5 minutes. Prep: 4 minutes. Baking: 25 minutes. 6 servings. By, Rebecca Falls. Dover, OH.
I miss when this was on the BBC so much. I don't live in the UK and can now no longer watch my favourite baking show. It was so funny and wholesome, at least Taskmaster publishes everything online for the rest of the world to enjoy. Please just put full episodes on here for people outside the UK to enjoy, I'll happily watch ads.
