just raced this round this weekend, but oxcr never posted the adult bike results. Not sure what shenanigans they got going on with thinking no results is ok?!?
You can see Crossroads live scoring on your phone from their website. So anyone in the pits can tell you what place you are in as you ride by. Very nice! Last race we had no cell service so was not available.
Here is my opinion. 54 year old that can win in the B class at a GNCC and keep up with many A riders. The 350 can give you arm pump in 10 min. I'm used to 250 2-stroke. It's a different riding style for sure. Pulls hard everywhere, but with that comes the need to be in a perfect attack position at all times. Not good for slow technical stuff at all, but for cross country it's awesome. I don't think you grow into a 350 or 450, you better be "grown" before you buy it lol....If you plan to ride it hard anyway. You can put around on anything.
@@dirtadventures2456 Hmmm. I figured I’d try to putt around with the 350, not technical riding or races, just long rides to explore. I do have an option for a 21 250 XCF with 100 hours on it. Maybe a better option, but thought the new frame for 23 would be nice
Thank you for posting this race. I am possibly thinking about running it in 2023 and was looking up footage of the course to help make my decision. Good riding there. I am just hoping to finish a few of these things in mid to late 2023 so to me that 3rd in the Masters Class is excellent.
Great video Steve. I feel your pain. I finished with a broken rear caliper so no rear brakes , dented pipe, broken rear spokes, a flat front tire, bike started stalling at the bottom of the hills, and twisted handlebars. I hit the ground at least 5 times and once blew a berm and got stuck in the vines and sticker bushes for almost 20 minutes. Btw that was me who got out of control and forced you into the big root ball
LOL, I probably would have hit something else the way the day was going. I have heard of other damage from other people too. Rocky Mountain will be making money from this race....
@@dirtadventures2456 yeah I had a 2018 250xc and now I'm on a old goat 2011 250xcw big difference 😆. These old bikes do well to tho. Just hard to beat the smoothest of the counter balance motors.
Great place to ride for sure. I love my bike. I've had a lot and its the best i've ridden so far. don't like it too lean. A bit fat all the way around I think is best.
I raced on a quad after the bikes and your right....if we wouldn't have got that rain. That track would have been sweet. Still was a sweet course just a lil muddy! Great video and love the commentary
Man that was a mess of a race I was doing good until I got stuck my 3rd lap lol. Sent zach a video of the next race. It's called nick obryant benefit race on my channel
