Do people die most by suicide or cancer? -> yes Do most people know how to use firarms? -> yes Do megacorps dominate politics & economy? -> yes Holy crap we were living in dystopia
no the biggest cyberpunk dystopia is literally China, Shanghai to be exact, just take one look at the city during the night and it will look exactly like night city, the reason why its not projected as such as in the cyberpunk genre is because the cyberpunk genre comes from the 1980's view of the future during the time japan had its economic miracle, where tokyo in that time was literally the closest you could get to a human cyberpunk hivecity with its enormous population, and a city so large that if it were to be in my country the netherlands would take up an entire province, maybe two, where it would take you two hours to get from one side of the city to the other side if lucky and there is little traffic, but now thats the opposite, tokyo is pretty tame and a fun place to live in, vibrant, and happy, most neon signs having been taken down due to light pollution complaints, shanghai however is the exact opposite where neon is literally everywhere now, even on skyscrapers, gigantic advertisements overlooking the citizens that live there with a brutal businessman culture where if you dont succeed you will fail and be forced to move out
Best College advice I have heard and pass on "When you see an acceptance rate, don't think of it as the chance you have of getting to a college, think of its of how many people fit the absurd standards of the college out of everyone applying."

Lived in South Korea for two years. Absolutely the cyberpunk dystopia. Just without young and colorful motorcycle gangs. Have to go to Vietnam for those.
I wish I had learned this about colleges when I was in high school. I was hung up so much on rank and prestige. I should have gone to my states flagship state school.
One thing you failed to mention is that South Korea was poorer than Ghana before the 1960s. The nation underwent an unprecedented economic miracle due to the efforts of the people. The criticisms you make are valid, but give credit where credit is due.
Bro you missed a point. The largest food manufacturer, Logistics and Film&entertainment in CJ group. Plus, the largest Shopping centre called SSG and the biggest hotel chain ‘The Shilla’ are also belonging to Family Group in Samsung 😅
***more than one boat, more than one style ***technique=/= just build muscle ***there’s actually controversy over lightweight but if you want to win, you gotta compete in every category. That’s like not having a 110lb wrestler because you didn’t want to carry too many people and wondering why you can’t score enough points to win meets.
@@NitroGamer_X Nah man, South korean speak bastardized version of the beautiful DPRK standard lingo. Come to the real korea in Pongyang and we will tutor you for free.
Super rich families engaging in corruption is not at all specific to Korea. The only thing that you said that is specific to Korea is the heavy work culture. Japan has their own version of chaebols, which is why those games make sense in that context.
North Korea, Communist Dystopia South Korea, Capitalist Dystopia Korean show us BOTH SOCIETY FUCKING SUCK. What the fuck US and Russia even want to prove? Which one suck better?
1984 in the North, Cyberpunk in the South. (Neither are pure forms of their dystopias but they’re too close to them) Jesus I think SK is even more of a Cyberpunk than the US. This is why you should never trust corporations with this much free reign. The profit motive doesn’t solve everything.
