Through your video I can positively identify a Eurasian pygmy shrew in a neighbor's yard. I caught it on video and saw the brown and white band with long tail. We live North of Seattle, WA, USA. What a cutie!

DID YOU KNOW!!! In size proportion to a harvest mouse, the human hand alone would weigh as much as an elephant and a human foot would weigh as much as a double decker bus. How heavy would a human weigh to a harvest mouse: An average human hand and wrist would be 7 meters long and weigh 7 tonnes The head of a human alone would be 8.4 meters tall and would weigh about 22,500 kg. A human would weigh about 500 tonnes to a harvest mouse. The heart would weigh as much as an elephant. The insides of the human would weigh as much as the tsar bell which is 203 tonnes and the brain would weigh around 10 tonnes. The femur of a human would be as long as a mansion house and would weigh as much as an elephant. A finger / thumb would weigh 400 pounds and the toes would weigh ranging from 25 - 130 kg. 1 rib would weigh around 270 kg. 1 vertibre from the spine would weigh 57 kg. THATS PRETTY BIG!!! Why not make MEGALOPHOBIA FACTS with unsettling music.

Toutes mignonne ces petites souris :) et le fait de laisser uniquement les bruits de la nature environnante comme bande-son est une bonne idée.

Mice are cute little things. I have two mice that I adore a lot. But I also like rats too (their bigger cousins). And if I am lucky, I will be able too see cute mice in nature.

Pararge aegeria in portugal is way diferent and prettier. Unlike in england in portugal there are way more species on north
@paulwetton
@paulwetton 4 года назад
Rui Castro I agree and you are lucky to have many more species
@ruicastro7930
@ruicastro7930 4 года назад
No, i meant there are more species on north than on south, if you think around here is a paradise, no its not ,portugal is by far the country with more invasive plants in europe australian trees (eucaliptos, acacias), pampas grass, arundo donax, ipomea indica etc We keep seeing less and less species every year because invasive plants keep spreading. Sumner fires dont help either.
@paulwetton
@paulwetton 4 года назад
Rui Castro you probably have more in the north and south compared to the UK. Shame about the invasive plants as they do make things worse for your native species of many types of wildlife
