Been watching a bunch of videos, always entertaining. But I haven't quite understood this 'buff' (or debuff) e.g. at 2:45 (not the war chant). It often appears when low-cost battallions such as orcs or goblins group up. What does it do?
Why is angmar so op? The more games i see the more i get the impression that angmar has way to much tools and way stronger abilities for pvp.. Are the developers of the patches angmar fans?
What i never get in these games, unless theres some "rule" against it, is why do players never just spam forts in this situation ? Everytime they float 5k+ another fort, gives income like a mine and is a deterrent to the eco hunting sqaud, slowly but 100% surely suffocate your opponent
Nice comeback from Maru, it's not surprising, this is what differentiates the most experienced players from others. Very good pressure from Jornev, i don't know him but he played very well with the men of the west.
I was thinking about getting into competetive in this game... After i saw this game, i wont. 25min gampleay has literally a single goal: kill eco builindgs of the faction. And even then, angmar has no map control, no units, no eco, no cp. But 3 heros are enough to kill everything and the fortress is just immortal. That seeems stupid competetivly. In no other rts u wouldnt be dead in such a situation
I wonder why the freeze spell never gets used. You could freeze 75% of an army and kill the rest or freeze all and focus down buildings. (Or you could defend from fellbeast by freezing your own melee units.)
I downloaded the game including patch 2.02v9 however it looks different than how it looks on your videos, and the tooltips are also different/non existent, is there some mod i should install?
Crazy good game and cast. Lovely to see Mordor Witch King be good. He controls barrow wights and is lord of the nine so of course he can kill Morgomir and Karsh.
