Interesting to see. I started at 372, I do my first sprint tri in July, 362 days after starting my weight loss journey, and a few days after my 36th birthday, down 90lbs so far.
Amazing story and editing 👌🏼 I just started my own journey to Ironman 70.3 in a way to stay disciplined and to get out of depression! I document the whole way on my channel ✌🏼
Great story and impeccable production. It served as inspiration for my first ironman 70.3. that will happen in Rio de Janeiro. Thanks! Greetings from Brazil!
Thank you for the constipation advice at the end of the video. I think having Two meals per day one being oatmeal and the other something with more protein like chicken breast with boiled potatoes or a small medium rice portion coupled with intermittent fasting and some excercise Will translate to good overall results. Of course without unnecessary extra sugar to Hot Drinks during the day.
you said you were going to eat nothing but oatmeal for 7 days. then you loaded it up with pure garbage. and somehow you still lost 2 lbs. imagine how much would you have lost if you'd actually eaten only oatmeal as claimed. false advertising bro.
There is not much comment about the fact that even in the rum statistics there is a big difference (almost 30%) between the calories measurement ( except the comment “ it looks pretty close”… 30% difference=close??). Does a anybody know which one is closer to reality ( meaning “which watch provides better info?”)
I don't understand one thing, you went slow in your swim and switched between Freestyle and Breaststroke. How did you manage to finish in 30 mins!? Was it like a downstream or did you practice swimming that much?
Buddy I got to tell you this is my story I was never that heavy but I needed to lose weight and I did that P90x and that fired me up I'm proud of you good job
sheesh. this is very inspiring! what you said in the beginning about not needing to limit our goals by our current self or limitations…that’s a big paradigm shift for me.
Great tips! I hit 50lbs down this week! 💪🏻 The best thing for me has been falling in love with the process more than the results. That’s when it becomes the most sustainable and more about a lifestyle than just a list of goals.
I did a half myself recently. Wasn’t planning to do one again yet but after your video I am now deciding to more this year. Hopefully I will see you in the next IM!
Awesome great job I have done sprint triathlon and in June 5 I will do my first Olympic tri . Unfortunately I wanted to loose more weight but wasn’t disciplined. Hopefully for the Chicago marathon in October I could do that 👍
Dang brother, this was amazing. I did my first 70.3 in March after losing my Dad to Covid in 2020. I’m all in now, doing IM Arizona in November and not looking back.
Chris, what a wonderful film! Thanks for sharing your journey. Very vulnerable and real. Your transformation is very inspiring and I'm sure the lessons you've learned through it will serve you well as a husband and a member of your community. Hope to see you at a race someday!!
No, unfortunately I didn’t. I had already spent so much on the race and gear that I didn’t want to spend the money. However, next time I definitely will seeing as how I think it would help me tremendously!
Awesome accomplishment. I'm now preparing for the 70.3 in Antalya. It is a lot of work especially the swimming part. Looking forward to watch more of your videos. Consider the full Ironman, you can do it.
