Some times the receiver is in the rear vision mirror on the windscreen, try holding the key up near it when you try. Also, sometimes it won't work if you have the second key in the car.
@nivaldolisboa72 assuming the battery is good...sometimes it won't work if a second key is in the car. Also on some cars the receiver is in the rear vision mirror. Hold the key near the mirror when you press the buttons. Good luck
Does this unit also control the cluster and climate panel lightning ? I have a problem about cluster and climate panel lights. They don’t work all the fuses seem good but I couldn’t find the problem. Can you help me ?
Morning mate, yes I think it does. If you have NO cluster illumination lights or NO climate lights or could be this module. You can remove the module, take the outer cover off and reinstall it without the cover. You can then press on the relays inside while trying the lights and see if it triggers them. I don't know enough about them but you can pull the module apart too gain access to the relays inside fairly easy.
Hi mate, no need to disconnect the battery but make sure ign off. I've never had to reprogram one. I'm not an electrician, I'm just learning as I go remember so might be worth asking an auto electrician. Good luck mate.
Hey StuntMan, so assuming the battery in the key itself is ok, the other thing I found with these is some of them have the receiver up in the mirror on the windscreen. Try doing the procedure holding the key near the mirror. The other thing I found is if you have a spare key, make sure that is nowhere near the car while your doing it. Good luck mate.

Actually, i've never tried it with a second key. You might be able to do it twice. Once with one key then the second key straight away without doing anything else. Let me know how you go mate.
Some cars will only work with one key in the vacinity. If you have the second key in you hand or in the car somewhere, it may not work. The batteries also go flat regularly. Try programing the second key with a new battery after about 5 mins.
Not sure why mate, maybe can only program 1 that way. I think you also can only do it with one key in the car so if you have the spare key in your hand it wont work. Leave the other keys outside somewhere and try that. Just a guess though. Good luck
Ah, sorry to hear. The other thing i noticed was sometimes I had to hold the key near the rear vision mirror for it to work. Must be something to do with the location of the module. ALSO make sure your doors are all shut. The other problem they have is the body module fails. In that case you can only open the drivers door with the key but the others wont open. Thats a whole other video.

Silly me, my key was dead, I went to the BMW dealership (buddy of mine works there) and he hooked me up with a new key for free but charged me for shipping. I saw something somewhere online about charging the key in your car but I couldnt figure it out so.
