I am reminded of Thurber's description of the "Morgan _moteur_ ". in "A Ride With Olympy": "One of those bastard agglomerations of wheels, engine, and superstructure that are found only in France... not much larger than an overturned cabinet Victrola... got under way with all the racket of a dogfight in full swing..."
That is a great description of these beautiful pieces of equipment. I am building a 1928 Morgan /Mg special 3 wheeler with 4 wheels which is the restomod version of the 1928 Morgan RIP/GN special hillclimb race car that Charlie Martin drives. I hope I am able to bring it to this festival the next time it happens in 2024 or 2025 when I am finished...
