The International Franchise Association is the world's oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide. IFA's mission is to protect, enhance and promote franchising through government relations, public relations and educational programs.
We need to tax wineries. 30 cents per glass sold, $3.00 per bottle. They use a lot of water and they result in drunk driving. And Newsom owns some wineries. He should feel what it's like.
Wow ! wish they were actually staffed like that..And FAMILY !? 😂after the “pandemic” profits are were still coming in and after things opened back up businesses is still booming but wow labor is being squeezed out of your poor employees nowadays ! A true leader does not ignore 53,000 messages from concerned individuals about their failure to follow through on a 2012 animal welfare policy. Shame on the IVF convention for even inviting Denny's CEO Kelli Valade, let alone letting her speak about leadership.
We had a great time packing meals with IFPG and Meal of Hope and one of our IFPG Mixers. I'm pretty sure our team / line beat Red's so don't let him tell you otherwise.
Props for this "mission to support small business." Sherry Rose and Stellar Service Brands (across Restoration 1, bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, and The Driveway Company) are doing great things.
It is impossible to have a fair, transparent, and valid discussion concerning the FTC "Rule" and the much-required changes to enhance and make fair the franchise model for Cherished Franchisees. If not discussed you get innuendo, tropes, and invalid "signature" talking points and not much more. Consider the following: Franchisee Bill of Rights The Franchisees of America, representing the best of the American entrepreneurial spirit, hereby recognize and demand a basic minimum of commercial dignity, equity, and fairness. In recognition thereof, the franchisees of America do proclaim this Franchisee Bill of Rights as the minimum requirements of a fair and equitable franchise system: The right to an equity in the franchised business, including the right to meaningful market protection. The right to engage in a trade or business, including a post-termination right to compete. The right to the franchisor's loyalty, good faith and fair dealing, and due care in the performance of the franchisor's duties, and a fiduciary relationship where one has been promised or created by conduct. The right to trademark protection. The right to full disclosure from the franchisor, including the right to earnings data available to the franchisor which is relevant to the franchisee's decision to enter or remain in the franchise relationship. The right to initial and ongoing training and support. The right to competitive sourcing of inventory, product, service and supplies. The right to reasonable restraints upon the franchisor's ability to require changes within the franchise system. The right to marketing assistance. The right to associate with other franchisees. The right to representation and access to the franchisor. The right to local dispute resolution and protection under the laws and the courts of the franchisee’s jurisdiction. A reasonable right to renew the franchise. The reciprocal right to terminate the franchise agreement for reasonable and just cause, and the right not to face termination, unless for cause. The American Association of Franchisees and Dealers House of Delegates adopted and promulgated the Franchisee Bill of Rights on June 6, 1996, and works to promote awareness and acceptance of these rights among the franchising community and the general public. lmfao nice scare tactic there, especially when, if you just do a basic search, shows that this bill would require restaurant OWNERS to comply with the new laws to provide better wages and better working environments for their employees. Seriously, it's like they don't realize how simple it is to find out the info and do a basic read (which doesn't even take 5 minutes) to learn what the bill really is. If anything, the only people it hurts are the ones who screw over others anyway.
