Did you manage to resolve this issue I have the same noise on mercedes a180 1.5 Renault DCI engine mostly when cold and under load ? My mechanic told me Tappets ?
same issues ,,checked egy valve , injectors sometimes error comes check injection system and upstream pressure sensor ...water pump seems ok ..engine heat up once and stopped ..what did you find
Not sure what noise you are referring too, but does the idle noise change if you grab the air intake pipe to the air filter housing and move it slightly.

All good and no issues. Torque increase alone was worth it as doesn't feel as underpowered. Fuel wise its been pretty good and averaging around 65mpg currently but it could do better if wasn't as heavy with my right foot 😅
Very nice I used to have a 2015 clio 1.5 dci 90 dynamique s medianav in white with the red trim . Fitted a tuning box to around 106bhp 245nm it claimed made a hell of a difference. And the fuel economy was bonkers I don’t know how true it was but the best I achieved was 92.2MPG over 26miles on the motorway
Thanks for your comment. I hope to get figures around that mark, best I've had up until now is 70mpg with eco mode turned off, haven't tried with the eco mode on yet tho but will do
@@andy51uk I never found eco mode to be any good on mine . Obviously it’s intended to dull everything down but it just felt so dead and laggy with it on. I would happily own another but a bit small for a child seat and all that goes with it 😕😂
hello can someone pleaase answer, im 17 very soon and i want one of these, but how much r they on insurance roughly, for me as first driver and ( obviously first car) thanks
@ marooncorsa so u want a 1.2 8v over a 1,0 12v tbh the 1.0 wudnt have a problm keeping up and iv drove both so dnt argue back and i can assure u they dont stall on speed bumps maybe u just dont drive properly? and y wud u be out at 7am to overtake milkfloats and doesnt "andy51uk" have a vid ov it doing over 90mph last time i checked milk floats only dun 20ish mayb you could think b4 u type next time !! owned
@BLAKEYBBLAKEY My corsa 1.0 is on 82k miles and still on the same clutch, and seems fine yet :) Yes, the timing chain does rattle, but it's not that bad. Even if you get it replaced, it is only 5000 miles before it starts rattling again apparently.
Just to let you know you have a fault code stored in your car, next time you get into your car press down on the brake and accelerator pedal with turning the key to position 2, then count the number of flashes the spanner light gives. Once you get the 4 digit code, google it or post it on here and I will know what it is
