I'm so glad you are here. I work with watercolor Beginners because, after 50 years of painting, I still feel like a beginner myself!
I will share simple tips & techniques so now you can paint with confidence and enjoy the magic that watercolors have to offer! My FAVORITE part of teaching is seeing someone come to my class or me and say, "I am not an artist, I cannot paint", and by the end of the class or tutorial, in this case, pleased and surprised by what they created!
I paint for the joy of watercolors and the fun; I will encourage you to paint how you see nature, the colors, the shapes. They can be a bit tricky cant they., its all technique I have a landscape playlist, although; I don't paint many, they just don't keep me interested. That will depend on the paper your using, you can press hard or light, it will modify the amount of watercolor pencil and the vibrance of the color the more you press. Play with both light and moderate pressure see which you prefer.

wonderful, have fun with it, and you can use any colors, I was loving these summerish, hues. Most of all play and have fun! Get creative with the added designs too, maybe some metallics? Pen and ink or Watercolor pencils! Enjoy friend

Im thrilled to hear that, I lead my new students in my workshops to paint more of a damp on damp, as it is much easier to paint with and control in the beginning. Its such a fun way to play and practice. You could add shimmer, metallics to some areas, draw your favorite doodles, I hoe you enjoy and maybe even discover a few things!

Its an interesting affect isn't it. I don't use my color pencils so much and am always happy when I Find ways to play with them since they have sat in my art supplies for years! Happy playing friend!
