Magnificent catches of the trains coming by and pass at the station, I like it 5 stars, keep up the great work, you earned a new subscriber, Greetings from Portugal.
Punchbowl needs some love as does Bankstown and all the suburbs like Lakemba, etc, such great shopping and rich cultures and such bad public transport and infrastructure. Shame on both Liberal and Labor. Boo!
Wow who goes there anymore except tourists? Note the conversation going on on the bus between a group of people. Free tickets for Disabled people a couple of times a year to visit parks and attend stuff like Australia Day and the odd local event and so forth. Wow how generous and how good it looks organising activities like this on your resume. Well that’s reality. Great publicity hey? The Wheel Chair group looks good on any council resume once or twice a year.
What the? They wheel a little stair so the tourists can get on and off? Well in the Green Mean bus days you didn’t get that you just had to get on and if you didn’t hang on when the driver took off with you still standing, well it was your bloody own fault. I miss those days because it took care of idiots. No one mouthed off at the driver like they do now and threaten to punch them up. Nope it didn’t happen.
I remember the old green buses, not quite as old as the first one but they were green and mean. There was no disabled seat taken up by people with giant prams or travellers with monster suit cases. Nope. If you had a child you folded up your stroller put it in the front place for such things and the child sat on your lap because it travelled for free. There were no giant BMW brand prams. The drivers drove like maniacs to meet deadlines and there were occasional incidences with road rage by the drivers who got very annoyed by cars doing the wrong thing. They spewed diesel but the service was much better, more frequent than what we get now. There was no Transdev. Should be called Transdevo.
@@Yazid1511This company (Punchbowl Bus Company) was a local, family owned business which served the community since 1947. The government gave their contract to a cheap, horrible overseas company who have ruined services, lost a lot of drivers, and left people stranded waiting for buses that didn’t come.
I been riding on punchbowl a lot of times since the time before their contract went to u go mobility.that their company in that region had an excellent service and I enjoyed riding on their buses. A great service history goes a long way for punchbowl bus Co & that their sadly missed now.
hey whats going with the buses is there anything sad about the buses i kinda like them but not living the same country like you guys but whats going on?
@@Yazid1511most of pbc’s older buses (L94 Cb60s, L113CRL CB60s, L113CRL Austral Pacifics, L94IB 510) were retained witht eh company as after the company lost the contract they became a charter service. Any of the other buses were given to U-go moblitly along with the contract.
The reason that PBC had lost the contract is because of a new company called U-go moblity had taken the contract when it was up for grabs before PBC and Transdev nsw could, although when they started services it was a shit show lol
