Prime Megatron is just so beautifully written with so much nuance and deconstruction of his Saturday morning counterpart. I think another good scene is when we see Bumblebee infiltrate Megatron’s dreams. We see the Decepticon leader dreaming both of being back at Kaon and finally defeating Optimus in battle over and over. I think that moment really sums up Megatron’s desire to keep the war going just out of spite for Optimus.
I don't really think that Fury's development arc is bad , it's just confusing . I kind relate to Fury in some sort of way , being the younger son and seeing my big brother get all the recognition while i was always just the clumsy brother , somehow i understand why she's always so angry about everything , while Fury is part of her character she's clearly frustated about how life's been going for her , and well , one thing is being frustated over and over again for decades and another thing is going through the same problem but with aeons instead of decades , and i clear see that she's just that , y'know , like , the most precious thing to her was her horse , the only thing that was always by her side , by the way we see her relation with her brothers wasn't very good , they seemed to talk very little , maybe because she keeps people away from her idk , when i see her character i see a confused person , someone who is frustrated with life but can't see that the thing that don't allow her life to follow to a better path is exactly her frustration , I'm not saying that the writing was good , i think it was confusing and the voice acting didn't help either , but despite its flaws i really love Fury as a character , it's not better than death in darksiders II but it's good , my biggest complaint about the game though is that the whole game just feels like a giant liminal space , but that's a conversation for another time .
I always fail. At the last stage the last killing cut scene. Please help me I have tried 50+ time but I failed. Is there anything thing I am missing at this stage please help. 16:11
It could be that the fire damage is in effect during the cutscene. The fight itself is pretty straightforward, all things considered. Not really sure what's going on there. It could also be that you are not getting or executing the execution prompt fast enough? That could be an option as well.
Dude I like ththe story, but the telling of it sometimes you talk really fast and it comes across as mumbling. No disrespect just wanna help u tell your story to the fullest. Also I've been told when I get excited I mumble so I notice it more because I like for now
Sometimes I mentally image a parallel universe where Megatron drives his fist into that wall and then realizes there is no energon there and then he turns around to Starscream awkwardly and just carries on with his rant.
I personally think that Megatron was the best 80's cartoon villain. In a sea of whiners like Shredder and jokes like Skeletor. Megatron is the most viscous, cunning, and accomplished of all of them. He actually did stuff and went through so much development both in the comics and the cartoon.
This was awesome and yeah the last jedi was pretty bad I just didn't like how they handled Luke I like the concept just not the execution and I hated reys ark but yeah loved your rewrite 😊
Darksiders 2 was one of my favorite games growing up, i 100% darksiders 2 and I'll never take the experience back. The arts style was fucking awesome and nothing like anything I've ever seen
I love the music that starts playing when things devolve into a firefight between Megatron and Arcee. It just builds and builds as the chaos of the scene spreads out of control.
The analogy of chess with Charles and Eric’s relationship on the personal and greater roles is fantastic. I particularly love the phrase “old friend”. If you find that phrase in a movie, it’s very intentional, showing a depth of interaction beyond good vs bad or enemies. Khan to Kirk, Charles to Eric, Obi-Wan to Anakin, Dooku to Obi-Wan.
Man, TFP Megatron was one of, if not the best depictions of Megatron of all time. Definitely my favorite lol The visual design alone is spectacular, the voice acting, his personal mannerisms as someone who is in control, and has the power to maintain that control... Ah it's SO good! Then we get to actually see that power come into play when we see him perform incredible feats of strength, utilize an INSANELY powerful arm cannon to deadly effect, and even take direct blaster shots from Team Prime with little to no effect. Then we come to the sword, which is sharp enough to cleave an autobot in two with a single strike, is worthy of a Souls game, and has literally never even so much as chipped or cracked all throughout the show, in direct contrast to Optimus's swords which it seemed like got broken all the time. And to top it off, we have his skill with the blade. And this ties into one of the biggest reasons why this version is so good: his background. Specifically, his history as a gladiator. A CHAMPION gladiator. A background which, if I remember right, didn't get revealed until season two when Arachnid tried to have him assassinated by an insecticon. After luring him into a deep pit and sic'ing her insecticon (which were still essentially super soldiers by this point) on him, Arachnid saw him attempting to bring his arm cannon to bear and realized how disastrous it would be for her if that beast of a mobile cannon was brought into play. So after Megatron succeeds in getting one shot off to create some breathing room, she webs it up to prevent him from using it again. Then it seems that she's done it. She's lured him into a trap in a confined pit, her warrior has the mighty Megatron on the back foot against the wall, surely nothing can go wrong for her right? Until Megatron delivers a backhand so brutal that it sends the warrior flying all the way across the room right into the opposite wall. Then he delivers one of my favorite lines in the entire series: "You and your beast would do well to remember, (unsheathes his massive sword completely unaffected by the webbing), that I honed my skills in the PITS OF KAON!" After which he proceeds to deliver the smackdown on the insecticon and literally slice its head off. And suddenly, it all makes sense now, why Megatron is able to go toe to toe with a literal Prime (who were basically demi-gods). Sure, he's absurdly big and strong, and cunning, and can take blows like a nokia. But more importantly, he has the skill to use those talents honed by years and years in the pits of the most notorious and presumably brutal gladiatorial arena on all Cybertron. And who better to stand directly against a Half-God, than THE Champion Gladiator who had to claw his way to glory through his strength, skill, and sheer force of will?
Honestly I feel like Walt Disney gets way too much credit for his work like he should get credit cause he did something different but he gets too much credit while Mccay doesn't get the credit i feel like he deserves
Nice, one of my fav halo games. The new AI is a good balance to chief's over-serious nature. Though I feel the main antagonist should be Atriox rather than Escharum.
