I love RUSH; Geddy says my name at least 3 times! Bryan Wilson. Yes, I play and love the bass. I would want to hear Geddy play an upright double bass pluck and go, it would be awesome.
I always looked at the drummer being the "hockey goalie". I started playing drums 20 years ago when i was 11 and my friend next door already had an electric guitar for his birthday, so i asked for a drum set for christmas. 20 years and still going strong playing drums, just picked up bass guitar about 3 weeks ago. It's been about 10 years I've wanted to learn bass on the side and its so much fun
Thank you for posting! I haven’t practiced anything consistently for a couple years now, so I always watch these sorts of videos to get ideas. Your rendition of “we’re not gonna take it” was okay - showed me it was actually a bit more involved than I thought - but “Under Pressure” WOW!! Really liked your technique.
I guess we have accept this in music. A group of guys licensed the name....but not actually the band. A sanctioned cover band. Meh....no thanks. I saw the real band.

I saw the original line up. This is pretty impressive! I'd like to think that the members who are no longer with us are looking down and rooting for these guys!!!!
Just found this little gem. Geddy seems like a person who would be a valued and loved friend..even if he wasn't one of the most amazing musicians on earth. I've had a few close friends and even a best friend or two. I'm not too proud to say that I wish I could count him among my friends. What a class act. The world is a little better with geddy in it. What a wonderful quality to bring to our world.
