Nice comparison, that slash 4x4 looks smooth as hell around that track. As for video ideas, could you try the rustler 2wd bl-2s? Seems like a real nice rc car for the price and im contemplating buying it but i cant find any good track videos for it at all, I prefer tracking cars then bashing em, Id love a review with this exact format going around the track and such! Just subscribed!

Getting one of these next time I see them on sale . Seems to be everyone who has this or the granite loves them both . Granite I can say for sure is an excellent RC car . I already know this a good choice as well so trusting my gut and ordering
Thanks for the comparison. It was nice to see them both on the same track. For the money the 4x4 seems to be the better deal with all the heavy duty parts. For me I think I’m team 2wd. More rewarding to drive and less parts / maintenance.

Dude I love the DBpro. So good at the track. Just put a HW max10 140a sensored combo in mine, absolute monster. I’ve put a lot of time wrenching into this thing and not from breakage, but from a mystery binding issue in the rear and sloppy diff cups… the rear diff feels fine but for whatever reason the back passenger side binds up if I try to do donuts… turning right only 🤔
Dang that is odd, I’ve never seen that before, hope you get it figured out for sure! I do love these tho! They are a lot of fun at the track, almost too fast for the one we have!
@@woodsyrc888_ so what happened was I used an exotek aluminum diff housing with 50k fluid and within a pack the rear end was slightly clicking and binding up… turns out the area where the cross pins sit inside the housing was getting chewed up pretty bad (due to the thicker fluid) didn’t realize it only used 3k diff fluid stock, just tossed 50k in assuming it was 30k stock or something 🤣😅 still kinda crazy. I usually just toss 50k in my basher diffs and never had any issues so I didn’t think it would be a problem but this diff seems to be more sensitive than most. Couldn’t find any vitavon or M2C diff internals for it either
I know it sounds counter intuitive but I have a stampede 4x4 and slash 4x4 bl2s both where down after 1 run due to rocks getting inside the brushless motor do yourself a favor and type up the vent holes to prevent
I have a video all about the HPI jump shot sc. honestly I think it is just as good as a slash. In my personal experience, it handles a little better at my track out the box than a slash did. My only problem is, it is easier for me to get parts for a slash. If a person bought either one I believe they would be happy!
Bro, rip out the foo choo electrics, rip out that mickey mouse slipper and that goofy pinion....remove that centre drive shaft. Stiffen the rear shafts, fit a complete aero kit, install the high speed spoiler, bolt it down in the middle to the body, install an XLX2+ 2028 CASTLE , INSTALL THE HB ALLIY SHAFT, AND CARBON CHASSIS BRACE, YOULL NEED A 32 PITCH TRAXXAS 34T PINION, AND A HB SLIPPER. 8S BABY!! 195MPH. your welcome. 🎉🎉
I never had problem out of the spektrum stuff but never was trying to get to fast considering I didn’t have the space, but I have done some of the stuff to the body and stiffen up the rear, appreciate that help!
I find using zip lock bags to store individual parts such as original parts after upgrading. Use brown tape with permanent marker to identify what part you have and the original RC. If something is broken trash it such as old servers. The zip lock bags work great in keeping track of parts.
That's a great looking rig! I had a 1976 back in the late 80s, it was a damn fun beast! You got a few mechanical issues to work out, I hope you made out well on the trade though. Cheers and sub!
Thank you! Not sure if they are comparable though, haven’t had much experience with the Rlaarlo, heard they were good RCs though. Haven’t had a chance to make this one brushless or drive brushless one, but I’m sure it is a lot more fun!
