OMG! As you know from Band Lab I am a fan of your music. You are extremely gifted and talented. This however is a whole other level. So haunting and beautiful and perfectly suited for your voice. This is actually the first time I have ever heard this song. Great job. Keep on!
I... Wow. Just, wow. Actually a bit speechless. Ok be warned, I'm gonna go into a bit of an analytic rant here 😅 So, the original Hayloft sounds scary, to put it simply; it sounds like it's taking place in the moment, with the singer desperately urging their lover away. If memory serves, there's even what sounds like gunshots in the original song. But this.... This sounds like the story's being told after the fact, maybe as the singer tells the police what happened to their now-dead lover, or even being told as a folk song years later. It sounds so much gentler, yet so much sadder. It's not the fear anymore, but the grief and regret that came after. 10/10 😍 Hey! And now we have a Hayloft 2 where the singer goes back to get revenge! :D Good for her 🥰
