Hi, I'm Jdaster64, a big fan of Mario platformers and the classic Mario RPGs, and curator of the Super Mario Files blog, which goes in-depth about little-known mechanics and enemy stat breakdowns in the Mario RPGs and such (supermariofiles.wordpress.com).
I don't post many videos on this channel these days, but I do stream games fairly regularly, and I will upload the occasional Super Mario Files video, alongside the bunch of old game walkthroughs, challenge runs, obscure / pointless glitches, and fiddling around with game mechanics from a variety of Mario games.
Also creator of the Superstar Saga+ balancing hack, but frankly, it turns out the Japanese release of M&L:SS and the 3DS remake did most of what I did just as well. Still worth a play if you want a more challenging experience, though!
If you're a fan of piano music or video game music, check out my other channel, jdaster64piano. Or if you want to see some funny Brawl Minus videos, check out vandysmashfails!
This looks really good! I especially like the changes to the partners especially Goombella's tattle felt rather useless, but now it has an actual purpose. I am really excited for the release!
Weird question, maybe, but are there any plans to add more varied music/music options? I think one of my biggest gripes with the vanilla Pit is that the battle music gets a bit stale over 99 repetitions, and some more options there (or at least fun miniboss themes) would do a lot for that
There aren't planned to be any new tracks, but the minibosses will have a couple of different themes. There will also be an option to mute the background music, like Infinite Pit had.
