I had heard the name Rick Owens name-dropped in lots on rap songs, but never took the time to actually make my research about the guy until recently, and he has become one of my role models ever since. I lack the intelligence to describe and put into words just how much his philosophy about everything changed the way I view life altogether.
A true bohemian, with unusual looks- not a cookie cutter clone- an original. A beauty with original style, still. Those were the days- sadly my mother pitched out all my old Vogue, Bazaar- unhealthy for me, ENVY- maybe but, pouring over those pages of unique models and chic tailored or bohemian clothes was heavenly- no, sweats and sneakers- yawn.
