I was having trouble with the bounty hunts, until I did the recommended adjustment to the reel. Now that I get more spins per shot, I find that the bounties naturally happen more frequently. Regardless, I still only get to the second shark. I agree the rules are fine for the bounties the way they are, but maybe they could guide you into starting the next bounties another way. I purposely don't shoot the reel unless I have too, which causes me to forget that I need to shoot it to start the next bounty.
I agree Jaws is my favorite Elwin (other than 60th for me, but that's a bit of an outlier). Love the wave ramp to upper pf ramp shot. It's so unique and challenging. Also don't make the shark challenges easier. I've only had ~500 games on my LE and I've already been very close to capturing the 4th shark.
I have concrete floors, so the rubber footies go on every game. They work great plus make it a bit tougher as slide saves are really tough. Overall just less ability to physically move the machine.
Stern makes a habit of lying, brazenly; Gomez said “both versions” of Godzilla Premium would “be available” in the 70th release video. 🐴💩 👎 I traded a highly collectible pin to my distro for a NIB (COLOR) Zilla “due in July.” They even lied to HIM. He’s now got four buyers who don’t want that ball-camouflager B&W one. 😖😮💨 At least he lent me an AIQ Premium till they DO release the color ones (“early 2025”!). Stop lyin, George; you sound like a little kid. 🥴

I like the leaderboard idea. They should be able to highlight a single game while maintaining a leaderboard for every game. This could align with the I.C. badge events, or their efforts to promote games that aren't moving... Having an 'on location' board would help the operators, so Stern should definitely do that. I want to say Mr. Gomez made a comment around the time of the Wick interviews that global leaderboards have a privacy/infosec concern that isn't trivial. I think I noticed that my son/daughter's minor I.C. accounts have a few more restrictions (doesn't display their real name, for example). I think they want to do it... deploying it sounds harder than we'd expect.
Where is my LoTR, Tron, Indiana Jones, Matrix, Fifth Element, and Goonies pins? Give the people what they want! I dont own a JJP but if they release Matrix I will be buying it.
Some thoughts on it after playing it at Next Level Pinball: I know newer machines won't show mechanical failures the same rate as old ones but I am shocked at how well it holds compared to other companies machines like Spooky's or even modern Sterns. No lateral translation to another machine, either to another Jersey Jack machine or in general. This might be a positive or negative depending on how you look at it. I personally dislike the in-game screens on the other JJPs but the artwork on all of them are stunning just like this one. Each section of the playfield feels cordoned off. There's no unexpected bounce shot or anything. Outlanes, personally hate them here. At least its different.
Great episode you two! Theme is important but along the same lines as you Nick I wasn’t interested in GF, EJ, or Jaws and now we own all 3 and love them! Can’t wait to see what the next JJP release will be. Wait….. my wallet is not as excited about that. 😂
Sounds like the only legit criticism could be that knew many people find PF difficult when you asked "is it easy?". Had you acknowledged you had an outlier experience that brought up questions, maybe the response would have been different (or not...pinside forums are pretty terrible)
@martyb4552 I did say that, but I didn't come across anyone saying it was an easy game. I've never beat a game so quickly and was shocked, hence, me asking the owners of the game if they think it's easy.
9:47, the alice in wonderland white wood with black sketch, with no gradient fill looks pretty cools as is. Even white plastic ramps. I am sure it wouldn't stay too clean, so maybe its not terribly practical, but it looks neat. They should do the the godzilla b&w like this. No gradient grey fills, just outlines, and maybe a few colors here and there to make things pop.

Have a Zeppelin premium and Godzilla LE….objectively Zep has better combo shots and light show/music but that’s about it. Zilla has it beat in every other metric from code/rules , art, playfield layout, fun factor. For me Godzilla is not the greatest pin of all time but still top 10 pin & Zepplin would be lucky to be in top 25.
@@sadboi7537 I think the layout is better than the code, ripping combo shots and getting into a “Richie” flow state is my favorite aspect about this game.
Hey guys. Interesting show here. First Nick I’m still blown away that you aren’t a fan of Godzilla. That being said, pulp fiction was hard for me. Great job getting to DI. As for your interest in Wick; I just played it this weekend and I was blown away even with the early code. The public is crazy. Keep doing what you’re doing. I might not agree with everything, but opinions are subjective… people can’t accept that then eff em! Except BBQ challenge… that just sucks lol. Appreciate the content.
And I should add... It's not that I'm not a fan of Godzilla, it's a good game. I think I gave it a 9/10 or maybe event 10/10 for the review! It's just that, emotionally, it doesn't get me excited.
Humble brag guy. Haha. Just surprising you did it so fast. I tend to crush games when I first play them cause it’s just getting back to your natural skills and playing before you’re too concerned about the rules. I probably just set mine up too hard, but I haven’t lit more than 2-3 of the requirements. I guess just don’t be surprised if there’s a long drought until you play that mode again. Haha I will say the ones we compete on we took rubbers off and use bouncy red rubbers on the flippers and tight tilt as it was playing long.
@@gusphan I’m addicted to that part of the game. So I’m sure it leads to lots of quick drains. Haha. There’s a short ball save for it, but that can be turned off too. Basically the game comes seat pretty easy, but tons of stuff can be done to make it way harder.
@@chuckwurt Awesome. I'm pumped to get mine and really spend time with it. I'm sure like with most games, the more I come to understand what I'm actually doing, the worse I'll play.
Nick is a really good player. My only question is does the game have settings that allow easier qualification of things? When I got a Spider-Man I blew through it basically first try and realized you can make it drastically harder to get to Super Hero by upping the mode qualification and villain difficulty. It was set to easy basically across the board.
I found it interesting you almost never passed the ball between flippers like I have seen other people do. I have a favorite flipper to shoot from depending on what i need to hit. Also, you shift that game a lot to save balls...must not be a tilt warning.😉
My college had one and I spent $1.25 on it every day. Now I own my own. I know it's not the greatest pinball ever made, but it's my favorite. Still looking for the gopher topper though!

Help me understand your logic here... If we say positive things about a game, but don't add it to our collection, then we're shills? In other words, if we like a game, then we're compelled to buy it? Is that correct?
@@gusphan the logic is that you are saying “you’ll be buying it”, which is false. So by saying you’ll buy it, when you WON’T be buying it, to make others feel like “if they’re buying it it must be worth buying” is why it’s called shilling. Making false claims to entice others to make a purchase that you wouldn’t actually make if in their same position. Does that help clear up what I mean?

I’m not sure why it feels so heavy in this video, but normally I prefer watching your videos because I always feel like you guys are honest. But then you start saying ppl SHOULDNT CARE about No assets in Jurassic park? “Making excuses to not buy a machine” an absolute terrible take. “Everybody relax” - these are 7-15 THOUSAND dollar toys that only exist because these ppl buy them. Maybe instead of “relax” ppl should get more upset so that something actually changes. Used to think you guys were on the side of the player and for some reason this video just oozes the opposite. Also odd how you guys normally are really smart with your critiques but when mentioning how guns can’t be on the playfield you completely ignore how there’s numerous pins with guns on the playfield so it’s a BS reason - literally just released pulp fiction. So we know that’s just fake but all acting like it’s “the norm” “People will just forget about it, don’t worry the mod market will take care of you” - so after spending 14 THOUSAND dollars, you can go by second hand third party items and manually install them yourself to get the game to the BASE LEVEL of what it should of had from the start… and why do we have to do that again? Some fake reason proven incorrect by pins that have released recently? Ugh, I hate this new world. There’s zero integrity left, it’s all about pushing sales everywhere for everything.
@@gusphan firstly, I appreciate that you are even responding. The long and short of it is you were saying you have to decide if you’re going to buy a pro or a premium but I’m pretty sure it’s a safe bet you won’t be buying either so I’m not sure why you would say something like that.
