I don’t believe there is such a thing as a morale compass in the field of politics. The best any nation can hope for is to have politicians that can agree/disagree exactly the same on certain issues. But since humans are humans, conflict and corruption is unfortunately inevitable. So in reality the best a nation can hope for is to have a majority of its government make sound decisions which ultimately leads to a “better” morale compass. To summarize my point, no nation has a great morale compass and probably never will. Some nations just have a greater morale compass than others due to factors I’m ignorant about.
