Just done a Macedon campaign and got victory before 200BC. Key is to secure Greece then destroy Rome ASAP. Light Lancers are great early game cavalry if used correctly. Just found your channel, looking forward to your play through. Seleucids are my favourite but you’re right, garbage early game cav.
I'm just watching this to understand how input the codes as I can do most but some are not working. But as I am watching I'm at the point when you need to fast track making units like the building cheat. Process_rq "name of city". That is the unit one if you didn't know and I'll be watching the rest of the video now. Oh one last thing I have noticed is that your doing this video and running the game thought PC, if your using the PC version or using a android emulator on you PC but the coding is the same as I can do on my PIXEL 7A 2024
Byzantium is the best faction for an experienced player. Or the Turks. England is for new players. Scotland, Denmark are the most fun. All the other factions are boring or poor. PS: Sicily will find wherever you are.
If we got a medieval 3 here are the factions that I want Western Europe England France The holy Roman empire Scotland Ireland Southern Europe Castile Genoa Sicily Venice Portugal Eastern Europe Polish Lithuania Kiev Novgorod Bohemia Hungary Viking factions Norway Denmark Sweden Arabian factions Ayyubid Sultanate of rum Ottoman empire Almohad Caliphate Abbasid Far East Mongols Timurids Vijayangar empire New world factions Taino Aztecs The Incas
This is awesome thank you very helpful but I feel guilty cheating for some reason I got it on the very hard setting and I'm going through hell as Britania
Dont click attack while the unit is already fighting you have to pull them out line them up then press attack the mailed knights didn't get stuck in the fighting cause the way you pulled them through not clicking attack
man i just got into med 2 again. and it took me like 60 turns playing as venice and barely had 10 settlements. and looking at this like a horde of turks jihading and kababing their way all over the middle east and europe
Diplomacy in MTW2 is pretty simplistic, unlike more diplomatic-focused games in the same genre. The AI has no real interest of self-preservation or faith, instead just seeing the weighted value of different offers as a flat positive/negative with no cap and no context. This has lead to exploitation of the diplomacy system wherein if you trade with a nation that is "very poor" in finances (if they are meagre, you give them money to put them in this category), then you can demand a tribute of about 2000 florins for 9999999999999 turns, which is such an incredibly bad deal that it underflows the diplomatic value function and they believe this to be an incredibly good and generous deal. You can then demand basically every settlement they have and they will still think it's immensely generous to be indebted to you until the sun explodes.
Everytime i play macedon i get war decked by greet city states, all 3 roman factions literally sail over to seige cornith or larissa, & thrace attacks me. Whether on hard or normal difficulty lol
I would have to disagree about Portugal and Spain you made them very dirty . ( if we talk about vanilla ) . I would even think to put them in the best one . Portugal and spain have some of the best unit in the game. Very good cav ( Knights of santiago and Conquistadors ) very good xbows ( pavise crossbows) very good infentry ( conquistadors and portugese knights ) and elite pikemen . How are they average if they have top tier units ? And you really put them same level as poland that has to be a joke.
I just think their starting position is quite bad and by the time I get to conquistadores I normaly have at least half of the map under control. I prefer good early game things.
@@yourtotalwarmaster3635 Well it is not that bad actually If you start as Spain maybe worse than Portugal . In early campaign the moors are not that great either.. Spain and Portugal in early period maybe not the best infentry but a decent one they have dismounted knights and they have access to good mercenary units like most of European factions. Their cav probably one of the best Feudal knights Mailed knights Jinetes are good if you use them well. And with the time passes you have better and better units . As for recources within few turns you can send 1 merchant into africa and get at least 250 f per turn. Lets not talk if you go to high and late period that probably are the best factions. . Anyway thats just opinions thats why we are here nothing Personal Keep up your good work We need more content like this The game is good
