Do the 2.0 shocks for the 3rd gen tacoma actually offer a longer stroke over oem? That's a problem with some of these style lifts is they reduce the shocklength, which, in turn, reduces your droop, which can make for a shit ride. I'm just curious. Im considering this setup. I do primarily forest services roads and over the road driving, but having a bit more flex while maintaining some ride quality is a plus.
Any chance you want to help modify/ install on a Shelby F250 Super Baja? I have a few custom touches I need, plus I'm dealing with the stock chase rack.
Ended buying two of the 2000 lights.. one had issues, would not charge one of the pipe clamps was.broken. Honestly for what this is, and the price point (which is rediculous considering its made in China) I shouldnt be having any issues with this out the box. So far regretting the purchase. Lets see how customer service goes.
Shoot me a dm on ig when you're out here man. Trail will be closed then most likely but down to hit some other trails. Where in Colorado are you moving?
Graph is on the d3 site I believe. And yeah sure an aftermarket tune is required after already spending thousands on a kit. That's still my point. Spends thousands on a kit and then have to get a tune or spend thousands on a kit and have it be done out of the box. I personally think the Harrop also looks 100x better. Like a real supercharger but that's all personal preference. They both use eaton internals so just take your pick really.
Hi bro - amazing review, definitely sold! Can you please tell me where you bought your full height bed rack and roof rack from and what brand/model it is? Thanks!
@@nizarfakhoury appreciate it! Promo code thedarkyota saves you some money on the tents and the rack. It’s Xtrusion overland. You can DM on ig if you need help with your rack
Thank you for calling out the stupid ass people that pile rocks so they can do trails instead of getting better, and not doing trails their vehicle cant handle. if you cant do a trail without stacking rocks your vehicle isnt built well enough. and if you do for some stupid reason stack rocks dont be an ass and remove them from the trail after you are past the spot you were too weak to do properly.
@@The_dark_yota okay interesting. So how do you run fridges and other things while the truck is off. That's what I'm curious about. Is there more that goes on in the interior of the truck??
@@victorvega3498 just a power station for now. Probably putting my accessory battery to an antigravity lithium to power accessories. Waiting to see what Blaze wants to do with it
Do you have a long travel kit or hub spacers or combo? My glass fenders just came in and are 4.5" bulge... My tires sit about 2 inches passed the stock fender on 23' trd OR.. I imagine I'll need to get one or the other so my tires not buried
Oh dang I'm actually in denver rn flipping a house... after hours though I work on getting parts installed. If you pass a 25'x15'x13' inflatable paintbooth in someone's front yard after hours that'll likely be me! Lol spraying a custom mix of House of Kolors Kandy Apple Red w Black Pearl base once I get these gosh dang ol friggin fenders figured out
@@jakestephens8555 yeah I have +3.5 Lt that’s why I did glass. Without it you don’t need glass and you’d need large wheel spacers. You can get more aggressive wheel specs to run a smaller spacer
Did you guys cycle the rear suspension to check for clearance or right where the instructions say to weld it it’s pretty much same for all and don’t need to do that. Also, for the limit straps do you need to droop suspension till it stops to get limit strap correct size? Just wondering I plan on doing this the end of this year and just want to get some questions answered thanks
@@raulramosramirez we went to the measurements they gave us and cycled after the fact to make sure all was good. We set limit straps to about 1” before full droop because they’ll stretch out a bit.
Hi there! Was it easy to pair with the devos app? Do you use iphone 13 or 14? I just recently purchased my devos 2000 but no matter how many times i tried pairing, it doesnt work. The light works fine but it just wont pair with the app and I am using iphone 13.
I wonder how it would do from a fall of 10 feet when the wind blows suddenly. Like surfaces like grass, sand on the beach, hard compacted dirt, and the parking lot.
Sorry I didn't see this. I run a fridge and my communications through the fuse block because it's constant power. I can just turn those things on when the truck is off
@@The_dark_yotado you manually switch the radios off so they don’t run down your battery, or are they wired to automatically turn on and off with the ignition? I thought one of the terminals on the Garmin switch activated when it has current from ignition or accessory circuit. I was planning on wiring my radio to that specific terminal.
@@novaaburst yeah this was just leveled to match the factory rear height. Add leaf packs if you want more height in the rear and add preload to the Coilovers to match
