We always hear that Jesus is the answer, however, people often then ask, "But what is the question?" -Find out here at The Rock podcast every Sunday. Ps. John and other faithful messengers share God's Word AS IT IS and let you in on some of life's essential questions.
"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." - Psalm 145:18 "Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6 "The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." - Lamentations 3:25 "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31 "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance." - 2 Peter 3:9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord." - Isaiah 55:8 "The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." - Psalm 9:9 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." - Psalm 23:1 "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." - Proverbs 3:5 Daniel 10:12 - "Then he continued, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.'" Devotion: In Daniel 10:12, we see a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness and responsiveness to our prayers. Just as the angel reassured Daniel that his words were heard from the very first day he prayed, we can take comfort in knowing that God hears our prayers as well. Sometimes, it may seem like there is a delay or a feeling of abandonment in our prayers being answered. However, just like in Daniel's case, there may be unseen spiritual battles or divine timing at play. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His timing is always perfect. When we pray, let us remember to approach God with a humble heart, seeking His understanding and wisdom. Trust that He hears every word we speak, and He is working behind the scenes for our good. Even in moments of waiting, God is present, and His promises are sure. May we find peace in knowing that God is attentive to our prayers, and He will respond in His perfect time. Let us continue to seek Him with faith and perseverance, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

The names Paul, Matthew, and John are originally Hebrew names and were used in the Middle East during the time of the Bible. However, it is important to note that the versions of their names we use today in English are translations of the original Hebrew names. For example, Paul's original Hebrew name was "Saul," which means "asked for" or "prayed for" in Hebrew. Matthew's original Hebrew name was "Mattityahu," which means "gift of Yahweh" in Hebrew. John's original Hebrew name was "Yochanan," which means "God is gracious" in Hebrew. When the Bible was translated into English and other languages, the names were translated along with the text. This is why we know these figures as Paul, Matthew, and John today. In summary, while the names Paul, Matthew, and John were used in the Middle East during biblical times, the versions of their names we use today are translations of their original Hebrew names. Hope this helps!
